Welcome back, Watters !

We haven't been the centre of so much media attention in the second tier at the start of the season since we signed Dave Mackay. You can't open a newspaper or a web site without seeing Frank Lampard in a Derby T shirt. No publicity is bad publicity unless you are Gary Glitter.

I think we have been lucky to play tonight rather than in the full heat of tomorrow.

Third time in the last 6 seasons we have been the opening game. Previous two times we have reached the play offs. On the downside we won neither game.

Is it to soon to be a six pointer.?

Interesting 2 articles in The Guardian this morning. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank on his attributes that will make him a good manager. ie his work ethic and constant drive for improvement. And one about his links to Gerrard at Rangers.
