forest fires have always been a thing, they always will be.
-------------------
so if there were 5 natural small fires a year in a certain county in the UK for all the times records were kept... Then that suddenly rose to 1000 natural huge fires a year... "It's just nature"... nothing could trigger that rise other than just a natural anomaly?

If you really believe yourself... Maybe climate change isn't such a bad thing... Let's cleanse the earth and start a fresh.

See you ignored the part where a lot are man made. convenient.

I purposefully inserted the word "natural" for that very reason

the day after tomorrow scenario wouldn't cut it because that just could happen.

miss the ice age did ya?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The one that took 100,000s of years to take root?

Now, i'm no superfan of the day after tomorrow, but I think it happens a little quicker than that

I'm gonna run out of emojis

you can run out of them emjis if you want. you're still wrong about global warming.

I pray that myself and the vast, vast majority of thinking people, including scientists that study climate data are wrong.

Sadly, I put far more trust in them than some dolt who lives with his mum and dad.

So you enjoy worrying about nothing then?

Life takes all sorts I suppose.

some people need to be worried about something I guess.

You are worried about immigration, over population etc

takes all sorts, i suppose

Try and think

Can you please now explain why you don't think humans are driving climate change? What is the basis of this belief?

=========================

I havent mentined climate change, dont know why you are.
======================

I'm going to spell this out to you really simple...

Stay with me now...

Global warming impacts the climate.

Increases in global warming produce extreme climatic events.

Humans beings are driving global warming, which drives climate change.

Therefore human beings are driving climate change.

Got it?

Now, we know you disagree... The question is why do you disagree, and on what grounds??

Can you now finally explain?

You are worried about immigration, over population etc
======================

that is something that is an actual problem that is actually having a negative effect.

Prove it, with data

Immigration has alot of positive effects, including boosting our GDP.

Population growth could be a myth, based on your thinking. It relies on consensus science, based on data analysis.

Immigration has alot of positive effects
--------------

no it doesnt.

It raises property prices, over populates the country, makes things more expensive.

It has very little in the way of positive effect.

Prove it

Stretty,

Now that I've cleared up why any conversation about global warming is indeed inextricably linked to climate change, could you please kindly explain your technical disagreements that human activity is driving climate change via global warming?

posted on 7/8/18

Climate change is a thing. Man made global warming is not.

For goodness sake... *Why* do you think that??

How many times... This only works if you actually explain your reasoning.

I know you don't think 'it's a thing'. I asking you for the umpteenth time.... Why!!? On what basis? What are your technical disagreements?

because how much garbage we produce and how much fossil fuels we burn doesnt effect the weather.

oh look 22 predicted for the rest of the week and rain "OH NO WERE ALL GONNA DIE"

===============

Ok.

You're now using the term 'weather'. We're talking about global warming... You're going have to explain to me - technically speaking, and with recourse to any evidence you have - that global warming isn't influenced or impacted by human activity.

Remember, we're talking about global warming, which is fairly entry level stuff...

Why do you not think humans are driving global warming? This is the key question.

If you think humans can have an effect on basic nature then more fool you

Stretty.. PLEASE!

WHY!!??

You might be right. Can you explain why I'm a fool? Anything? Something? Please back up your point.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you make of my earlier fact that we have literally changed the earth's axis and rotation by storing more water in the northern hemisphere?

Is changing the entire planet's basic nature not enough for you?

Late to the party

Is Stretty going full retttard again?

Naitch

posted on 7/8/18

Well... he said that even if "the day after tomorrow"'s plot happened... he'd still not equate that to climate change as "things like that happen"

It's that retttarded enough?

posted on 7/8/18

Yeah, that’s quite high up on the Stret Factor

It scares me to think people like him exist. Then I find solace in the fact he must surely do it to wind us up

posted on 7/8/18

Stretty is doing what he always does - states a position (fine), but when asked to explain his position, cannot do it. It's tedious. It's as though he cannot grasp the concept of explaining his reasoning. It's alien to hime.
