I think playing in a more dominant team like Real Madrid or PSG would help him because it would mean his weaknesses wouldn't be exploited so much because opposition teams don't tend to get at teams like that.

Just lacks pace. Solid in every other department. His one on one defending has improved so much during his time here.

Marcos Alonso ,a good player to have in our squad.I am sure many other teams would say the same thing.

Absolute paucity of quality lbs in world football atm. Not saying Alonso is a poor player but there are so few wc ones.

I think there’s quite a few, Mendy, Alba, Marcelo, Alaba, Sandro. Kolarov split hairs at City but got 17 assists last season from LB. And Telles someone I’d hope we’re linked with.

I agree, I think LB is quite strong and there are a lot of good LB's on all levels.

Likes of Chilwell, Robertson, Tierny, Sessegnon (SHOULD BE BEING PLAYED AT LB) coming through in the UK alone. Let alone abroad. I think the RB position is where there is the real dearth in quality.
