But, but, but fishing and er, immigration and, erm, our own trade deals.
Things are going to get a whole lot worse over the next two years. If it wasn't for the fact it's the working class that are going to get hammered the most, I would just sit back and laugh at how messed up this is going to be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I still don't believe Boris intended to win. I think he and Cameron did a deal where he would agree to lead the Leave campaign (appease the Tory Euro-Sceptics) have a narrow loss and spend a few years in the wilderness before getting support to take over from Cameron in 2020.
The morning after the Referendum he did not look like a man who'd just won.

So we can be like Greece or Italy and be fckd? Or be like Switzerland or Sweden and contribute nothing.
'Austerity' is hammering the working class anyway. People in this country have nothing to lose.
As long as we can control the borders, and stop paying in so much id be happy to stay.

And the award for the stupidest comment. Nothing about voting for Brexit suggested a never ending negotiation. The British people voted to leave the European Union in all capacities
The man wrote two letters for his column in the Telegraph, one saying he supported remaining, one saying he was backing the leave. He didn't tell the paper until 24 hours before print which one to run. Ultimately, at this stage, he has made a huge mistake given that he is further away from the leadership than he has been at any point in the last 5 years.

Absolutely bullet proof argument
I think he took a gamble on the assumption remain would win. I don’t doubt he’s clever. I just don’t think he thought leave would win.
He plays the fool really well, including the other week when he dodged answering questions by offering tea to the reporters.
On the subject of “you lost, deal with it”.
Funny how leave voters say that. Farage said when he thought Remain was going to win.
“If remain win by 52 to 48 then that’s unfinished business.”
When he got his win he called it “the will of the people”.
I think the only people who’ll win out of this are the people who have enough cash to not give a flying feck. Farage being one of those people. And I’m sorry but if the rich people aren’t full up after their 8th course they’re gonna have to suffer.

Really? There was no "mis-selling" or promises made that haven't already been pretty much re-tracted?
Jose must have stolen the bus the NHS promise was made on to use in his training sessions.
You do realise unless the Tories are playing a very good game of poker or playing their cards close to their chests, we're not far from exiting and no closer to any kind of deal any body wants?
Unless of course you'd rather be that "let's cut our nose off to spite our face and sod the consequences, so long as i get what i want" person?!

You've always been able to control the borders ....but have chosen not to , preferring have cuts in public services and pay benefits. Blame Westminster not Brussels !
Brexit is a disaster that will ruin UK, as of 30 March we will be the only country on the planet without a trade deal...with anyone !!!! As it stands No Deal will mean, no fresh produce, no medicines, no security or justice deals, no nuclear movement deals ....the list goes on...oh and No EU roaming but as there'll be no flights that won't affect many of you. But hey...it's the will of the people !
Bit like the millennium scare, and the sky will probably fall in just as an encore.
The farmers were big supporters of Brexit until they realised that they'll be inundated with tariffs and paperwork when they try and sell their goods to the EU.

Exactly!!
The only chance this country now has on it's current course it if the EU suffers a dramatic collapse extremely shortly after we leave. Leave voters will be able to gloat "got out just in time" and we'll be able to sit down as a an equal.
It is sad but i think there's gonna be 2 possible outcomes from this.......
1 and this is extremely unlikely.,.... The rest of the EU dis-bands and something like the original common market is re-formed.
2 - A UK Government minus Scotland who've already left because they were mis-sold independence. (Anyone notice Sturgeon not threatening, give another referendum or we'll have another one of our own?) Will not put it to the voting public next time, will request to re-join the EU. The EU will (if they let us re-join) tell us we'll be a minor nation as a new member with less power than before and of course the single currency.
Who on earth thought we were going to be in a position of power to dictate terms to the other 26 members of the EU after pi$$ing them off was off their scone.

We do control our borders to a great extent.
The people have decided that they would like to exclude skilled workers from the EU and continue with the Open Door policy of letting in unskilled workers from West Africa and the Indian Subcontinent.
I'm sure it must make sense in someone's head.
