Why is the amount exactly what we spent on pogba?
More money in the pockets of greedy owners, at least without FFP more of that money goes to the players.
Well hopefully it can prevent clubs paying circa £65m for a clown type GK

You also can't pay a player any more than £900k a week, as we do for Sanchez.
i think they should regulate transfer fees. money being paid these days is ridiculous....
forget money going to the players or the owners. More should be done to help the fans actually go to the matches. Lower ticket prices, subsidized transport, reasonable prices at concession stands etc.
Owners and players are already rich enough, its time the fans got some help
Just a net spend on transfers?

You dont get given subsidies for Cars, Holidays, Insurance, Concerts so why on earth would you get it for football matches?
It's simple supply and demand
Doesn't stop Sanchez earning 850k a week though
im not sure you could limit an individuals wages. you could probably create a club wide salary cap.
i think the target is 100m euro which ironically is 89m quid at todays exchange

He earns what he wants
Liverpool have only ever had one window with an unhealthy net spend. If the rule is in place we will stick to it. Until this summer our net spend was lower than the likes of Bournemouth and Palace.

Surely not. I'm sure we'll see the money put into facilities, or back into the pockets of the fans in the form of cheaper tickets and reduced TV subscriptions.
Yep, I'm quite sure.
Only good if the money made by the owners is passed onto the fans... like that'll happen.

was only mentioned because this summer you were the only club who wouldve broken it. 89m is a big net spend, wonder if any clubs will have a huge January in anticipation

Wouldn't surprise me. I think our January will be a quiet one but could see United spending quite a bit, possibly Arsenal too.
Spurs will spend I reckon. We may too
I was thinking Spurs, they could do with spending a bit. But with all the stadium delays and extra costs etc. I'm not sure.
City are sorted, stocked with players they could sell for good money
I think it's unlikely we will spend big, but if a top class central defender became available then I wouldn't mind it. But we'll see how Gomez does next to VVD for the first few months of the season, he's certainly made a promising start.
