Ive been one of his harshest critics but I think he's done well when he played this year. I think there are way too many players in a comfort zone at Spurs (they know they are underpaid and that their starting positions are not under threat) and thats showing in their performances. I don't think Toby, Dembele & rose are committed, Kane & Dier look mentally crushed and Dele, Eriksen & Jan are probably thinking "where's my new deal after what I have given over the past 3 years... Poch & Kane got theirs". Appauling mgmnt from the club. For the next month I would probably try and get Lamela, Sonny, Moura, Winks, Wanyama & Walker Peters etc as much game time as possible. Hopefully the fresh legs & minds will help and provide a kick in the ar5e to those who appear not to be bothered..... Couldn't be any worse !!!!! If Kane, Dier & Dembele start at the weekend I really will start to believe that Poch is trying to sabotage the season to prove a point re the lack of action this summer

Yep Lemme see what I can do. Obviously there are no "direct" quotes but I think Matt Hughes is a pretty credible Journo & much of what is said is certainly reflected in what us fans are seeing on the field. I think its reflected in some of Poch;s comments that "we arfe not challengers for ANYTHING this year" How things change..... 6 months ago he was talking up our chances of winning the Champs league...... Gotta keep moving forward..... Spurs right now are stuck in the mud.... Both in terms of the players & our 60K seat cheese room

Pretty sure he said that if the teams plays like it has we wont be challenging. On the grounds that most didn't have a pre season, Most were involved in the later stages of the WC and we are the only side in the history of the world not to strengthen the squad I'm not overly optimistic.... quite frankly I wouldn't blame him if he wasn't either ! We now have reports of player bust ups, starters not making the trip to Milan, reports of fatigue a month into the season & Poch making odd quotes and getting very defensive with the press for the 1st time...... I wouldn't exactly say things are going well.... would you ??. If we get beat at the weekend (& I think we will) I bet there will be all sorts of stories out there next week with players sounding very disgruntled. You can bet your ar5e it will be radio silence from the club until they are forced to make another -ive statement re the cheeseroom

problem is that the bulk of our starting 11 made the semis and unlike our rivals the rest of our squad isnt good/ deep enough
Well we clearly had the most that was in it until the last weekend then add into other that are injury prone ( Lamela & Waynama ) missing preseason and Son going to Asia cup it’s been a bit of a awful start player wise.
Hopefully now everyon is fit and we can start putting into some decent performances but the next 3 PL games need to be wins

yeah... and then they all played that extra facking joke of a 3rd place playoff game to compound matters. so facking spursy that is... 3rd v 4th in the world cup and half the players on the pitch play for facking spurs.... and then start the next season like a set of caaaants who have never met each other before.
Plus we know Poch goes tough on them in training.
It's all adding up.
Hugo, Toby, Jan, Trips, Dier, Dele, Kane, Dembele & Rose all made the semis while eriksen & Sanchez all played in the KO stages...... I think thats more than any other Club
And Moura, who didn't play at the WC looks our best and most energetic player.
pretty sure Eriksen was the hardest working player in the prem this season covering more distance than any other.

It may not effect everyone the same, even if Eriksen hasn't been at his very best, but you've got to think it's playing some role in the way we've been playing, among other reasons.
