Wow shocked by the improvement over the 2 fights. Leon looking much more confident and Usman seems the opposite, didnt seem like the same fighter in the first 2 rounds. Came out his shell in the second half, but always slower to the punch.
Fiz fight phenomenal....so fast.

Endeavour has just bought the McMahons controlling stake of WWE. Now UFC & WWE, which will be rebranded are worth 21 Billion.
This is amazing.
Dana White will be still President if UFC and Vince McMahon will be Chairman of WWE.
But Endeavour has last say. Will WWE go back to the violent, no holds barred Attitude Era? I doubt it, but you never know.
Who will cross over? Connor McGregor is a definite.
It will be interesting to ser how this plays out.
I suspect the purchase was done to have greater control of the market. There will also be the merging of fans, which should benefit both avenues. I'm sure we'll get UFC fighters making appearances on WWE.
I'm not sure how great this deal is, for the fighters. Will they get a boost in income?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
So my initial thinking, comes down to the renegotiating of the TV deal with Fox which is now up for WWE.
Endeavour can now go in and say look at the numbers
and try play for NFL style money... well, not as much, but a significant amount.
Ultimately I think this helps UFC fighters more, than WWE. Most wrestlers are on contracts already and do well already.
Well now, this I didn’t see coming. It seems Vince McMahon is set to destroy everything.
Last summer, he was caught in a scandal, where he paid off multiple women. The board/share holders demanded Vince resign.
So he stepped down and resigned, but still holding his majority stake. Triple H was now the man fully running the show. The product got better.
Vince behind the scenes, decided Now was the time to sell, then made a deal with Endeavour that restored his place as Chairman, taking power away from Triple H.
And just like that, he’s back in control, and instantly you saw, the ramifications on Raw last night.
A terrible show.
If Triple H quits, many will follow him, and the WWE product is doomed.
Vince is a vindictive guy, he’s 77yr old, why is he doing this. He lost his edge years ago.
With the scandal surrounding Vince why did Endeavour do this deal?
This was meant to be passed down to his kids Shane and Stephanie and Triple H, and he’s betrayed them and the fans.
I'm not familiar with what's going on in WWE but I do know that guys that obtain a certain level of power and control, rarely just hand it over.
I suspect Vince always planned on getting his seat back and it seems this acquisition and merger has occured at an opportune moment.
Did Vince know that an acquisition was going to happen and therefore played dumb all this time?
Ironicallty, this is all very wwe script like

Of course he knew. The moment he was forced out, last summer, Steph and Triple H were the head honchos.
Then there was a rumour Vince was back, but just hanging around doing nothing major.
Suddenly, the rumour of WWE was up for sale.
Steph then quit. But Triple H was still the man.
Out the blue, Endeavour do this deal, and they are saying they wanted Vince back, and Vince said ok.
As if. He blatantly said, this deal doesn’t get done unless he’s back.
And just like that, he outranks Triple H, and as I said, RAW was a shiiitshow last night.
Morale said to be low, and Vince just doesn’t care.
He’ll always be an all time great for how he built the business to what it is today.
But creatively he’s lost it. Triple H felt fresh and exciting.
And he’s killed it.

And he’s now at 77yr old, decided to grow a moustache, he looks like a villain from the silent era of movies.
Don’t know if you know, but at Wrestlemania, they did a surprise, by Shane McMahon appearing.
He hasn’t been seen for a long time.
He comes into the ring, does a star jump and blows his quad out
And that could be the last time we ever see him.
But Vince only stepped down because of legal trouble and now that seems to have been cleared up, so it's logical for him to want the position back. Sounds like it was all a facade.

This is a better card than the London event and I am excited to see how some of the fights play out.
Predictions:
Adesanya vs Periera 2
Alex is a monster and it seems like he has a mental edge over Adesanya. However, I've watched the last fight a few times and Adesanya was doing well for large parts and I suspect he will have similar success again. I think he will vary his attacks more and be more conservative with his kicks. I predict a very safety first type of performance from Adesanya.
ADESANYA VIA SPLIT DECISION
Burns vs Masvidal
Jorge has great striking and his wrestling is underrated but I think he has peaked. His run to the title shot was explosive but his game against the top guys wasn't good enough. Burns is on his way up and I think it's an opportune time to fight Jorge. The 3 rounds makes this fight closer than it should be but I see Burns pressuring Jorge and implementing heavy grappling.

Let's be honest Izzy was getting taken apart tonight, but great KO and sets up perfectly for the trilogy
Great fights.
The co main went as I suspected. Jorge isn't the same fighter he once was and Burns was able to actually beat him on the feet and in the grappling. It wasn't pretty and it won't get him the title shot, but it's a good win.
The main event was a fascinating affair, for as long as it lasted. Periera was doing well with the kicks but he was getting hit with some good shots too. Adesanya lured him in perfectly and caught him with a beautiful counter right hand and then finished him off with some follow up strikes. It was a statement win for Adesanya and I'm not necessarily a fan of his personality but his skills and ability have long been established as some of the best. I think a trilogy fight makes sense next. Periera still has the power to beat Adesanya and he was doing well in the fight but he chased the finish and Adesanya was too slick.
I am sorry Guv he didn't "lure him in", he got a lovely clean shot, and an absolutely cracking KO, but it wasn't his plan in anyway shape or form, Alex was taking him apart and Izzy had one round left at best on his leg which was damaged in the 1st and he had already made Izzy change it up, every kick at the end was buckling it. But fair play to him he got a beautiful counter off under pressure, he is a slick striker for sure, and one of the cleanest Kos I have seen in the while
