I'm not convinced that proudly proclaiming it was not our team's brilliance but your team's incompetence is helping your argument here.

to put it simply you had more jam than hartleys. we are better than you and if the game was replayed 10 times we'd win all 10

Well certainly there was no argument that your right back looked quality in that match.
I remember the chant ringing around to sign him up.

a fine og it's true but not a patch on keith wellers from the halfway line for you - probably before your time.

Maybe I should be giving Puel more credit as well, not only defying the statistical expectation of losing 10 times out of 10 but winning as well.

My era is Frank Sinclair's free kick backpass from the half way line. A true thing of beauty.

I also remember a cracker from a local lad, Matt Heath. I can't remember the exact score or game, but we were all-out defending in extra time when a cross came into our box. Young centre half Heath rose like a Salmon and elegantly thundered a header straight into the top corner of his own net. Amazing finish.

We didn't see much of him after that.

I'm just surprised that Wolves the second coming of Barcelona are not top of the table with 6/6 wins never mind losing to little old Leicester.

We're not doing too badly for newcomers to the league as ex-league champions, the mighty Leicester are only ahead of us on goal difference (1 goal).

Yes that’s true.

Almost identical to Huddersfield last season. Three times winners from distant history and 9 points from 6 games.

Nothing special.

Give him his due, it was only from the corner of the penalty area 😀 (if it’s the same one I remember).

Seems like a bit of a spikey conversation.

We played well at Leicester, got a bit unlucky with an own goal and a massive deflection, but ultimately suffered for not taking our early chances. It might have been different but I don't think anyone associated with Wolves was discouraged by that result.

Think that's probably a fundamental difference between the two clubs at the moment. We're riding a wave. Everyone's together with complete faith in the team and the work being done off the pitch to move the club forwards. Leicester on the other hand seem frustrated by the failure to really seize on the amazing success you had recently. There's been a few changes of manager and seems to be a lack of direction in terms of how you want to play and what players need to be brought in to deliver that idea. Molineux is absolutely rocking, the loudest ground in the league so far (though it will be half-closed for tonight's reserve match), while you guys seem reliant on clappers to generate an atmosphere.

Think we'll end up pretty close to each other in the final table. You certainly have a lot of good players.

Always remember a goal Leicester scored against us at Fillbert Street. Harmless cross from deep and Alan Boswell (Wolves worst ever keeper) came out to catch it, slipped and fell on his bum, and the ball trickled into the net.

Probably this one. I only found it after you’d jogged my memory.

Man City hit the woodwork three times at Moliineux and were reported as being the unluckiest team of the season.

Wolves hit the woodwork three times at Leicester and were slated for not taking our chances.

Such is life

As for mocking our right-back (Matt Doherty)...he's shown his true colours in every game since and is proving he deserves to play at this level.

I used to enjoy matches against Wolves when Steve Walsh and Steve Bull used to have a running battle all game and it was a lottery who’d be sent off first.

That’s before we had all these delusions of grandeur!

Leadership could be the difference tonight. I like the look of our second-string line-up but I expect that, given the recent past, your reserves are stronger. We've got Nuno though and I'd be surprised if that doesn't get us over the line.
