We may as we’ll go sign Sagbo
What a rubbish game of football that was.
Shat Cup, glad we’re out, fecking waste of time that Cup is
Awful game, awful penalties, great Leicester keeper!
It takes 19 yr old Benny Ashley-Seal to show so called professionals how to score a feckin penalty.
Appalling!

It was a good save from Adama’s penalty to be fair.
Quite pleased that we’ve managed to beat one of the best sides in Europe even if it was only the reserves - and on penalties!
Only the match thread was good tonight ...shocking

And Saiss? And Jota?

Their penalty’s were both pretty tame. Easily saveable if the keeper guesses the right way.

Every dog has his day
It was a competition as to: “who could take the worst penalty?”.
I feel like we won it, but fortunately had Danny Ward in goal.

Yeah that Choudary’s penalty was pretty terrible.
2/2 against Wolvesalona. Not bad going that.
I think we’re both in the same boat here; would have liked to win but hardly devastated at going out. And let’s face it, we’ll probably draw Chelsea away regardless.
we tried to give it away but ah well can't win em all
You did have your first team out against our u23’s
One of Evans & Morgan + Vardy (surprisingly). The rest probably won’t start away at Newcastle at the weekend. So it was mostly our second 11 as things stand.
Vardy was a surprising starter but it's not like he got through the bus anyway.
Have to say the Leicester fans singing "Jamie Vardy he's won more than you" was strange....he hasn't
only 2 of tonight's team will start at Newcastle Evans and Vardy.
It was just the same as just about any league cup performance I've seen at Molineux in the last 30 years. Sadly somethings just don't change.
Positives:
Dendonker looked like he could slot in to our starting line up pretty seamlessly if required.
Cavaleiro looked our most potent attacking threat despite it being his first game of the season, great to see him back.
Ruddy had a good game too. And young Benny looked good in his brief cameo. Took his pen well too.
The rest of the non regulars looked rusty, naturally, but none, including Traore, really grabbed the opportunity to claim a league start.
MGW was ineffective in the central midfield role, although he did better when he pushed forward late on.
Saiss improved but looked equally ineffective for much of the game.
Bit disappointed, but tonight underlined the point that without the quality that some of our first choices bring, we're a bit ordinary.
Here's me thoughts....
Good- The light show before the game...very nice
The amount if Leicester fans, bought an old fashioned cup feel to the game.
Ruddy...still as good, that one save wowsers
Dendoncker...looks a good player
Coady...as good as ever
Vin..Ving..V...our LB ..going forward is amazing
Jotto...great find him
Cav...good to see him back glimpses of himself
Jota...fantastic when he came on
Seal...looks a player
Bad-
Hause...distribution poor and see him in the first team
Gibbs-White...not quick enough, gave the ball away to much
Siass...seems lazy, we were crying out for CM's who could hold the ball and break...I thought Leicester ran the midfield because of this.
Adama...can take anyone on but needs to learn when to pass...I'm sure Nuno will will change that.
Leo...bless him he tries but not good enough
Penalties...shocking
I thought MGW was ok, you have to remember he is only 18. I think he suffered from not having a more dynamic midfielder next to him; which is needed in this formation at this level. Saiss was really ordinary, I knew he was going to miss that penalty when he stepped up as he usually telegraphs what he is going to do with the ball before he plays it. Think it shows we need to be ruthless if we want to progress; good year last year but the difference in quality between him and the first 11 was obvious in that role.
Adama shows why he doesn’t start. Wants the ball and wants to run at people; but doesn’t seem to want to put in the work to get into positions to receive it. Needs to work on that or he will only ever be an impact sub.
Cav did ok. Good to see him back. Bonatini struggled but did play some nice passes when dropping in.
We lacked a cutting edge last night. Whilst we were still fairly solid, no one in an attacking position did much to stake a claim.
