Well that's nonsense.

Usually if an OF club is drawn out, even if it's in the first game they will play on the Sunday for TV purposes.

Whatever the outcome, someone will have a moan.

I doubt the police will want both games played at Hampden on the same day.

Neither tie at Hampden would be a good option.

Celtic v hearts at Easter road and rangers v aberdeen at tanadice would be a good option.

I hope there is a sensible decision that means both games are played on the Sunday. Hearts vs Celtic at Hampden and Aberdeen vs Rangers at Murrayfield 👍

Someone suggested a Tennants sixes style format.

What about 12,500 tickets to each club, everyone with a quarter of the stadium and we get a big game of cuppies?

Move one game to Monday
Move that teams Wed fixture to Thursday
Move the following weekends game to Sunday

So eg.
Rangers cup semi on Monday
Rangers Killie on Thursday
St Mirren Rangers on the Sunday

As is traditional, 1st tie out the hat plays on Saturday. That’s the luck of the draw. Soooooook it up and get on with it. 2 days is plenty time to recover from aEuropean game

Its fooking simple.

Aberdeen V Rangers at Hampden Sunday 28th Oct

Hearts V Celtic at Hampden Sunday 4th Nov

Celtic V Hearts in the league on Sat 3rd Nov re-arranged to a later date (possibly a midweek)


Due to the way the tie has been drawn only 2 teams are inconvenienced with regards league duty namely Celtic and Hearts.
