Who spoke of loyalty? He isn't still at Celtic because of loyalty, I already posted he is just a kid living the supporter dream and I doubt he is mature enough at the minute to consider a move away from home. He might never move and be content to stay but to suggest he isn't good enough or there won't be high bids is utter nonsense.

Anyway it's early days in the season let's see what unfolds for all our teams.

Will he be good enough? A dip in form at Veltic doesn’t bode well.

Big bids? Maybe, but his stock and contract length have moved since the ‘reported’ interest. Bigger issues at Celtic I feel, some good competition at last in the SPL for the old firm.

It's not the defence you need to worry about. It's nearly November and we remember Richarlison scored his last goal for Watford in November last year. Better hope he doesn't go in to hibernation for you this winter like he did for them. After all you have shelled out a lot of cash on him and with the Turk unlikely to banging them in for you and Walcott not a prolific scorer of goals you might have some worries at that end of the pitch.

I didn't know until after we signed him that he had played 18 months without a break, he claims he was burnt out by Crimbo. Silva leaving also affected his form it seems.

Regarding your comments about scoring goals, I'm quietly confident of us finding the net. We have 2 players on 4 goals, Bernard is starting to find his feet, and we're yet to see André Gomes or Yerry Mina (who will be dangerous from set-pieces).

One thing I refuse to do is teach the ignorant idiots that support a middle of the road English club that hangs around mid table in the EPL about a club like Celtic

Let them have this feeling they are somehow bigger and better

They have no clue how Tierney has been this season and I'm fcked if I'm gonna tell them .

I've seen bits, I saw his goal against Israel, I know more about him than Celtic fans know about Digne.

I don't claim to be bigger, we are better tho.

Let’s not pretend that a club like Celtic has a following because the football is sparkling and they are dominant in a competitive league.

The lad isn’t even the best Scottish LB, unless that’s the current trend up north to churn out top class LB’s.

We have been lucky enough down here to watch Baines for 10 years show how LBs should play. Put the ball in the top corner from FKs and have great all round play and never burn out.

ONLY better because of the wealth gap from tv money which allows you to have over £100m a season minimum. In all other revenue streams we would beat you hands down and we both know it. Take you out of the Sky etc tv revenue stream and give you the equivalent of what Celtic & Rangers get from tv (around £2.5m) and you would I can assure you not be a match for either of our 2 large clubs. More fans, more season ticket sales, in our league you would struggle to match either for the advertising and your shirt deal and shirt sponsorship deal would not match ours. In a nutshell your a smaller club than both our Glasgow sides so given a level tv playing field you would be below both.

You know who the clubs were who pushed and formed the PL?

So our place is earned, the money earned and ultimately our long stay as a small club at the top table ensures we keep raking the money in.

The global following, well that’s not based on success is it. It’s irish and Scottish who have moved about the world. Bet you don’t have many fan clubs based in Singapore and isnonly locals not ex pats. Sonbe a big club.....with a limited fan base centred around political and religious ideas.

The hard truth. Prem faces don’t want to acknowledge this and will do anything to find an excuse. The sad truth is that the epl sold its sole a long time ago and it is entirely down to money.

The League clubs who were drivers behind the formation of the Premier League didn't sell their souls, they developed and improved the game. Turned the english top league into a global product.

We should all be dewey eyed and watch real clubs play fixtures that only a few thousand show up for (if rangers and celtic are not involved) truth is, even lower league english clubs draw massive average crowds as the game is growing in England
