He's in the Carribean Sheriff, it looks like a carbon copy of the deployment I did there in 2010 on HMS Manchester - only I didn't have to pay for it!
Whereabouts in Pompey were you bought up Sheriff?

Comes with the territory mate 🤭
Must admit I rarely go to Portsmouth these days... Sister lives near waterlooville, other than that no real ties down there
Still live at the seaside mind... Well when I say seaside... Weston-super-Mare
Weston on the mud
My daughter's coming over from Australia in April, so were taking the Grandkids down to Brean for the last week of the month!
Cruise is going swimmingly Brummie. These beaches are absolutely beautiful. Will give u a call when I get back. 👍

By swimmingly I hope that doesn't mean the ship is sinking and you're having to swim Summer
No need for the lifeboats so far Superb!!
Depressing morning following on from yesterday but still proud of the performance the lads put in.
Another season looms to an end, that promised so much but not a bad one by any means.
Hopefully we finish 3rd and leave Le Ar$e and Spurs behind us again.
Thanks to Sheriff for for his time running the CPL
Hopefully the mess with sanctions will be cleared up soon, as we bade a fond farewell to Roman and can move on as a club!

I am dissapointed that we are note going to finish at around the 80 point mark in the PL. I don't beleive we shd be as close to Arsenal and Spurs as we are in the league.
Losing on pens twice to Liverpool in two finals in two well contested matches is nothing to moan about although of course it hurts.
But next season is full of uncertainty. Our backline needs a total overhaul now and Tuchel may have to change the sytsme and style of play. For example i don;t see where Conor fits in our team if we play with WBs next season. Possible a 3 5 2 but then we need to find one hell of a goal scorer.
With the out goings, backline absolutely needs sorting out Biggish, including decent backup for James and Chilwell (Although I thought Alonso was very good yesterday).
The central midfield on the other hand, I absolutely see where Gallagher fits in. IMO we're very short in that department anyway, especially if you consider that Kante is becoming increasingly injury prone. Also consider the talk we may lose Jorginho back to Italy who is also nearing 31 years of age.
To not bring Conor back next season would be a huge mistake IMO, he will have his eyes on his fledgling England career and won't hang around forever; given he's 22 already and seen everywhere else as an outstanding talent there won't be a lack of bidders trying to lure him away with the promise of being a 1st team regular!
Yes but I don't dre Conor in a midfield 2 though. He seems to me much more box to xox in a mid 3
I think a good player adapts to either system Biggish - and I think he is a good player!
Gallagher looks a top player and as you say Brum good players can play in different systems. Very much looking forward to seeing him play for us in whatever system next season.
I'm sure Tuchel already has a good idea of systems for next season and from everything I've heard him say about Gallagher it does seem that he is already a big part of his plans. And rightly so.
But next season is full of uncertainty. Our backline needs a total overhaul now
---------------
Yeah Biggish we're going to have to bring in quite a few new faces in defence to replace Rudi, Christensen, Azpi and Alonso.
Seems that Perisic is already inbound to replace Alonso and Kounde in to replace Azpi's place but that still leaves two other new CB's. Colwill might be one of them and Koulibaly the other.
Would love to have Koulibaly as he'd be an excellent replacement for Rudi.
Ey up Superb, is Perisic an LWB/LB?
I'd always thought he was a wide attacking player?
