Fantastic. They scored with their only chances but only once rudi went off. Could have had 7 or 8 today

I'm still expecting some inconsistent performances throughout the season but I'm loving watching us now more than I have for a long time!

Brum yeah it's a learning curve. We still have so many good players to come in so there'll be plenty of experimenting and chopping and changing. Enjoy the ride. So much more exciting than last season

The mrs has taken the tv over biggish... Britain’s got talent...or lack thereof

What I liked about today was Frank going three at the back. I think it's a good thing for keeping the opposition on their toes.

I think when we went to that formation under Conte, we just stuck to it religiously and opposing teams got used to it and how to combat it in the 2nd season, plus a lot of other sides adapted it as well.

If we have the capability to use such varied selections it'll help keep the oppo on their toes not knowing what they're facing, we can even switch formation mid game now, when all our injuries come back.

Brummie I very much like the idea of switching up formation and style for different opposition and occasions. Being able to play at least two or three different ways can only be a good thing. There's nothing worse that being extremely predictable.
