Are you scoping them out first to make sure that they are 3 star animals before killing them?

Does it harm the pelt if you just kick animals?

Killed rabbits, squirrels and a chicken by booting it.

And me.. Find a 3 star squirrel and pop it in the head.

I read on the condominium thing that squirrels best pelts are acquired with the small arrows. I’ve killed about four perfect ones with the varmint using dead eye and it gives me poor pelts every time.

What the fack?! I’ve killed like four with the varmint and it’s given me poor pelts. Have I been wasting my time with the bow and arrow then?!

I think that I did get my first one with a bow and small arrows, so it can be done that way. But I am sure I have had perfect pelts off them with the varmint rifle too. I have got the trinket for better pelts though - have you got that? It was worth taking the time to get it in my opinion.
