Look at you all nit picking stories in a desparate attempt to prove racism. It's pathetic
----------------------------

You mean the stories that you brought up? Pahahaha.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Errr these articles are the ones you mugs are posting to try and prove your points. Hahaha
What an idiot
----------------------

You provided the link to The Daily Mail trying to prove that the Poundland story wasn't negative. I then explained to you in quite simple terms why it is. Do try and keep up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Errrr poundland story was originally posted by one of the snowflakes.
John terry is also in that article plus there is feck all wrong with the article., nothing negative. Unless you are an idiot and want to twist it how you will
---------------------------------

John Terry is briefly mentioned as also having shopped at Poundland. Nothing negative about him there. I have already explained to you how the story about Sterling being thrifty is turned into a story about him spending lots of money and being flashy and the suggestion that this has impacted on his England form. You just aren't clever enough to realise that you are being manipulated by the press. Which is tragic really, as it is quite blatant.

If you do not think the media are not somewhat racist with this lad, then fair play man.

Seriously, how on earth can your brain think that’s a logical train of thought?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So were rooney and becks villifying fuelling racism then?

How many more times must this be explained to you? They were criticised for things that they had done wrong. Sterling is criticised for things that he has done right. How ca you not see the difference?

----------------------------

Have you actually read that story?

It goes on about how he drove a different car to training every day, owns a 500k Bentley, has a swimming pool at his home and played poorly at Euro 2016. The suggestion being that his poor form in the Euros is down to all the money he has - perhaps he is just too flash? None of which has anything to do with him shopping at Poundland. So they have turned a story about him shopping at Piundland into a negative story about how much money he has/spends/how flash he is and then hinted at the fact that this might be the reason he doesn't/didn't perform for England. How can you not see how they have spun the story in an attempt to make him look bad?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Suggestion that his poor form was down to his lavish lifestyle. Hahaha you have just completely made that up.
It says he was lambasted for his poor showing at the Euros. He was lambasted and he was poor. Love the way some of you twist stories in your own brain
---------------------------------

Yes, he was poor. But notice that they sandwiched the fact in a sentence about how he drive a different car into training every day:

"In November it was revealed that Sterling - who was lambasted for his poor showing at Euro 2016 - had brought a different car to training every day one week."

The fact that he played poorly in the Euros and drive a different car into training every day are totally unrelated. But the tabloids use this approach to suggest that there is some correlation between the two. It is a subtle suggestion that Sterling played poorly because has too much money/is too interested in material things. Unfortunately, people like you don't have the brain capacity to realise that they are being manipulated by the press.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again pure and utter nonsense
If you want to twist ut to suit your agenda then thst is your problem. Time and time again I seem to have to repeat myself.
Has sterling being targeted? Yes
Is it racially motivated or fuelled? Is it feck
Why? Because other players such as Rooney and Beckham have had the same treatment if not worse.
-----------------------------

Rooney and Beckham have been targeted when they have done something wrong. Sterling has often been targeted when he has done nothing wrong. Especially in the last 3 years or so. This has been explained to you on several occasions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What had Beckham done wrong?
Secondly if its racially fuelled why isn't Rashford, Lingard, Alexander Arnold, Welbeck, walcott etc etc getting stick???
---------------------------------

Becks had cheated on his wife. He had got sent off for a petulant kick. He had, according to SAF, lost focus on the game.

As has already been explained, if the tabloids target every black player, it becomes a bit obvious. That said, Jesse has certainly had some bad press. Some of the others may have too - I don't really read any tabloids, so wouldn't be aware of that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Had he or was it just tabloid rumours?
Getting sent off!! Haha so thats ok for him to get vilified in the press for ages

They have attacked Lingard- shown the chains and cars numerous times. They ran a story about Auba and his cars before the lad even kicked footy for Arsenal. They have tried it with England's best sporting icon right now (Hamilton). The list is endless.

Did Becks cheat on Posh? I am pretty certain that he did. They never went after Loos and that photoshoot they did in the snow was desperate.

Where did I say it was ok?

You are confusing yourself.

And what it takes ten seconds to read the article, it’s quite long hence I posted the link.

Stop avoiding it and educate yourself by reading what a proper journalist thinks about the press and their conduct to black players.

Or should we listen to you who’s being called out by his own fans as an idiot.

this is satire surely, you asked when did cole have a good wc but then say our defenders were the only players who played well? and then say the fans voted him the best English player at the world cup?

and just for record the fans voting are generally not the media, just pointing out the difference

Be quiet maggot and go back to your hole. You prove daily you know feck all about football. Our defenders in general were the only ones who tended to play well during that ear. Secondly you say he wasn't lauded. Funnily enough he picked up England player of the year award in 2010 which was voted for....oh by the fans.

As I have already said to you previously, it wasn't ok how the press went after Becks. But he had at least made a mistake with the kick out.
..................
So the whole villification of a player is fine as long as you doing something wrong like getting sent off in a football match. Okkkkkkay then
-----------------------

No-one is saying it is ok. Why do you keep putting words in people's mouths? But in Beckham's instance he had made a mistake. It was a petulant kick that cost his country in a big tournament. Sterling in contrast shopped at a pound store!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he did. Which he hasn't been villified for. Read the fecking article properly
--------------------

I have read the article properly and pointed out to you how they have turned a story about Sterling being thrifty into a story about him being flashy. And the suggestion that it is a reason for his poor England form. You simply don't possess the intelligence to see how the press, especially the tabloids, work and how the manipulate people.

Again i ask. What did Ashley Cole do that was outstanding to warrant him being lauded like very few defenders actually get compared to attackers

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where did I say it was ok?

You are confusing yourself.

And what it takes ten seconds to read the article, it’s quite long hence I posted the link.

Stop avoiding it and educate yourself by reading what a proper journalist thinks about the press and their conduct to black players.

Or should we listen to you who’s being called out by his own fans as an idiot.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
You haven't grasped thd fact yet i couldn't give a feck what my own fans think or anyone else for that matter. I have my own opinion and I don't follow the crowd like you

Nope. Its just that I have the brain capacity, academic qualifications and experience to dissect an article and see the underlying message behind it. Not that anyone should need any of the above to understand that particular article. It really is very basic comprehension. Why don't we put it to a vote and see how many people on the thread agree with you and how many agree with me?
