I don't know if it's just because of the difficulty of prising him away from Spurs, but I can't get that enthused about Pochettino
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me neither really, I'd like him as our long term manager I really think he'd do a great job.
I don't think it's a possibility though.
If PSG foolishly bin Tuchel for Jose they have to be the most clueless club going. And they’ll have to risk Neymar and Mbappe being sold as well.

Jose should take a long rest from football, two sackings in a row must have severely dented his ego and put off potential suitors. He needs to evolve his playing style and man management if he still wants to stay at the top. Tough ask for a 55 year old bloke though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'll be at PSG at the start of next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would be a massive shock. They're doing fine at the moment.

That said, I was happy with the appointments of Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho, so what do I know
There are going to be caveats with any manager we appoint.
I like Pochettino, he would understand what the club is about but his lack of trophies is a worry.
Trophies won at other clubs with insignificant budgets don't concern me. Jose has won it all, but still failed miserably. I'd rather someone try and build the club back up to be a functioning cohesive team/unit playing good football, with an element of bring through some of our clearly promising youth players.
Jose should take a long rest from football, two sackings in a row must have severely dented his ego

Three sackings in a row. One of them his beloved Chelsea.
Rejected by Barca and ejected by Madrid and United. His ego will be smashed to smithereens.
How stupid of a decision was it to extend his contract 9 months ago now? Absolute bonkers.
It was a bonkers decision even when the team was doing okay before that.
Mou: "I've sat in this chair twice before, with Porto - Man Utd out, with Real Madrid - Man Utd out, so this is nothing new for this football club."
Never forget lads.
I’m convinced this is like some money laundering scheme between Mourinho and the clubs. It’s the third time now he’s signed a new contract then proceded to sabotage the team and get the sack months later.

C'mon Dazza. That would indicate that there was some sort of planning involved!
Maybe at Chelsea and Madrid then.

I wasn't around all day.
I was out Chrismas shopping with the Mrs during the game, then went to the pub to watch the Redskins. I saw the line up and thought it would be preferable.
How right I was.

or the day after
BBC are reporting now Solskjær’s name is under serious consideration. I’m not too sure about this appointment, he did pretty crap with Cardiff.

Don't know why but I don't want Carrick. Too cautious as a player so don't see improvement
I would love to see Nicky butt have a go. A leaf out of Barca etc books.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Butt makes a fair few questionable choices as manager whenever I've watched them play. Certainly got the players on board though.
Wenger is available? We've got no pressure for results in the league as we're miles behind, and want to play nice football for 6 months that's it. His dream scenario

One last tilt at the FA Cup as well...
