Nothing overrated about VVD. He has everything you could want for a centre back and more.

Nobody said he was overrated. Just not as good as Verts and Toby at the moment. He needs at least two or three seasons at Liverpool to prove his worth, although I suspect he may go to Man United if they come in for him.

not doubting he's the best in the league at the minute. Sandys point is Toby and Vertonghen have been for the past 3 or 4 season and they've had their injuries.

Goal keeper = Allison. Most clean sheets, not a drink driver.

Do you not remember when ‘Pool tried to sign Heinze - not an integral member of our first team - from us?

Players just do not go directly between ‘Pool and United; it’s law 😂

Besides, regrettably, ‘Pool are just better than us at the moment; only incentive would be cash and, given what they paid for him, you’d imagine he’s on a very nice salary too.

I’d love VVD, but I doubt even the most ardent of United fans would think there was even the slightest possibility of that. Toby, on the other hand... 😉

Not much between the teams but Liverpool have spent a fortune in transfer fees and wages compared to us.

yes when you consider money spurs have done remarkably to be anywhere near as good as liverpool
