Because Dirty Leeds are Yorkshire skum.
And who had the hardest Hooligan firm back in the days.
(Well, you did ask)
Yorkshire vs Lancashire. War of the roses and all that. It's Greater Manchester technically these days however Lancashire still play at Old Trafford Cricket Ground which is basically next door to the football ground. The rivalry goes back a long old time.
We all hate Leeds sccccumm
If probably goes back as fast as the war of the Roses. There's was also a rivalry between the two cities during the industrial revolution. In terms of the rivalry more specifically between the teams then you are looking at the hooliganism of the 70s. The service crew was one of the hardest in England and the Red Army liked a scrap too.
Some teams refused to play these cants at their home stadiums in fear of the leeds hooligans trashing up their stadium and home town..
They were also the first team to be banned from European competition.
I thought Leeds was UNITED !!!!!
Red Rose/White Rose etc but football wise started in 65 and has carried on, northern press was based in Manchester and we always felt we never got the recognition we deserved, likes of Neville always thought the Leeds game was the biggest after Liverpool and the older Man Utd fans know what the game means,
I think some of our more recent fans will be surprised by the genuine hatred the Leeds fans have for us if and when they come up to the prem.
I know quite a few of their fans, and while some have humorous banter, some are just pure bile and have no limits (think munich etc).
They’re all iinbred and most likely Brexit scuumbags that’s why.
Remember being at a game years back and the Leeds fans were giving in the Aeroplane gestures, munich songs etc and then United fans retaliated with Istanbul references (where two leeds fans were stabbed)
Needless to say it turned ugly and the home and away fans were trying to get at each other. Thankfully United anticipated it and there was extra police and stewards on standby.
The rivalry is very real and the hatred is fierce. I want them to come back up though as it's a great couple of fixtures to look forward to.
Everybody hates Manchester and therefore they have a rivalry with everybody.
You're all from either down south, or another continent all together now, so when Leeds do come up you won't know what's going on. You'll be safe behind the TV with a glass a nice glass of Merlot anyway.

You wouldn't know real footy rivalry if it hit you in the face, you stick to the warmth of your sofa like 99% of your fan base.
Man U is just a brand and slowly fading away, spending 100m on a player and when he fails, your chief executive is only bothered that you made the money back in shirt sales anyway.
All wrong

You don't seem to understand how football shirt sales work so I'd leave it there if I were you before you make yourself look even more stupid
Also who says he's failed? He's been managed awfully under Jose and the first two games under Ole he's got 3 assists and 2 goals. I'll have more of that failure
I’ve read a lot of the United board over last few months found it quiet interesting, the split between fans in certain issues reminded me of the Leeds board.. just goes to show we are actually not too dissimilar, think there’s a mith actually about the fan base, they do have a large following from down south and in other parts but so do all successful teams, Leeds have our fair share too, our very own Jonty is from Watford! And love him or hate him you can’t say he doesn’t have passion for his club! I think Manchester is split 50/50?? Which you expect. I saw a stay the other day that spurs have the largest world wide fanbase, wow that shocked me to be fair, I just thought, why?
Leeds vs Manchester to be is fixture that we’d all love to involved in
The rivalry was only for a short time in the 70's really when Leeds were a good team.
There was an epic FA Cup tie that went to three replays, I think it was . Leeds eventually won it.
After Don Revie Leeds demised and so did the rivalry really, only Leeds fans hang on to it. Out rivalry then shifted to the dips.
He's been awful. He's overrated and the point is that football should come first, not sales of merchandise and getting 'the brand' our there to reap the rewards of buying a popular player.
There are loads of players who do it week in week out and cost a fraction of what he did.
You are what's wrong with your whole club if you accept that.

No player has been involved in more PL goals for United this season than Pogba. 7 goals, 6 assists.
If Pogba is awful then we really need to sell the entire squad other than the keeper.
Man U fans on our board? We must be famous!
