They can. Just less likely to, because they are a worse team atm
In the league, yeah.
Our record in cup competitions is vastly superior to yours, though.
Don’t call me a simpleton just because you don’t like basic facts.
Facts don’t care about your feelings
Focus on getting back into the top 4 man, another year of Europa league football looks likely atm. Tinpot
Spurs fan calling Arsenal tinpot when they’ve achieved absolutely nothing in the last 30 years. Couldn’t make it up.
Go win a trophy, then come back and talk to me.
If his motivation is simply more money and he actually likes living in the hell hole that is London then we could be a good fit for him
You'd think Spurs would just stump up 150k-200k pw to keep him though. It's a stupid amount but it would cost so much to sign a player of his quality and pay him a market wage that it would be cheaper to pay him more.
I do sympathize with Spurs wanting to keep their strict wage structure. What you can't do is let the floodgates open and end up with everyone demanding higher pay and putting the club in trouble
Just consider for a minute why Spurs have done this. I want a younger long term signing rather than wasting £25m and god knows what wage demands on Alderweireld.
Happy for Toby to be the next Sol
Alderweild would probably flop if he came to us. Be 30 years old, playing with a much worse back 5, and a less defensively minded team, has all the makings of a flop.
Disagree. Liverpool’s defence were a bunch of clowns, then along came VVD and they turned into prime Italy defensively.
Not saying Toby would have that sort of effect on us but he’d 100% improve us

Supports Arsenal AND Nottingham Forest? Probably Nottingham born & bred but wanted to support a bigger club.
