After last night`s hyperbole of a game,

As for our game against Tranmere, I don't want to see Kane, Eriksen, Alli, Toby, Sissoko or Winks in the squad. All of those are indispensable for different reasons - Sissoko and Winks as they are our only fit CM at the moment bar an 18 year old with 2 to 3 starts under his belt.

No point resting Son as we will lose him soon enough anyway, and Lucas needs a game. A front 3 of Llorente, Son and Lucas should do enough damage. Would be tempted to play Foyth at CM where he played at youth level alongside Skipp and Trippier as a make shift CM. Back four Aurier, KWP, Davies (at CB) Sanchez, Gazza in goal.

We should be finishing the job tonight and then steam into Chelsea on Tuesday.

For the good of football I hope that Liverpool do not win the title, but looking at their fixture list (and the next 6 games) they're all winnable

The real hyperbole is around the 2 greatest keepers, both of whom looked average at best yesterday.

Edersons biggest strength is that he is not Hart or Bravo. He was flapping all over the place yesterday and came within the width of a gnats pube from conceding a calamitous own goal. He has been made to look good by teams too afraid to attack City.

Allisson was beaten at the near post, yes it was a powerful strike but a top keepers positioning should mean they are not beaten at the front post. Both are over rated.

Both brought in mainly for their kicking. Both better than Lloris imo, who also gets beaten too often at his near post.

Biggest compliment to Pool is the fact its the 1st time I can recall Pep changing how Man City play, and although it wasnt the highest quality, it was an intense and close well fought game.

Both teams were very very close and no team was n top for more than 10-15 minutes at a time.

Still much to admire about both teams, although City should be favourites, being at home.

As for spurs V tranmere,is it really worth an article?

You cant make out City v Pool, the best teams in the country this year, was all hype but then you talk about a game Spurs will walk through in their sleep lol

Tranmere is as good as a free game if your a top 6 cub tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well yes Spurs v Tranmere is worth an article, because it is on the Spurs board, and it is Spurs next game. Who would have thought an article about a Spurs game on the Spurs board.

What does Ace call Klopp, sugar puff teeth ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Klopp looks like Worzul Gummidge on a good day. He is such a scuffy so and so, looks like he has never seen a bar of soap.

Yeh both goalies were poor, especially Ederson. I was just waiting for a mistake from him.

They're both very good young 'keepers with plenty of room for improvement.

Ederson was panicky at times, but I'd put a lot of that down to over-anxiety de to their recent, leaky form and how much was riding on the game for City.

Saying Alisson was at fault for Agüero's goal based on his positioning and one of the oldest clichés in football is abslutely ludicrous, unless you think it means the goalkeeper's ear should be glued to the post.
