Imagine if Kane had turned an ankle on that pitch.

It would’ve been fine because at least the Tranmere fans got to see it

I totally agree with CChronic on this one.
Kane should never have been risked. Neither should Son.
I have no problem with Gazza, he's good enough.
Now one issue was that at Half-time we were only 0-1 up.
But Kane didn't come on until minute 75, by which time the game was well and truly over.
So WTF take the risks!

I’ve heard the counter arguments and still firmly believe that it was an utterly ridiculous and stupid decision and needless risk. Fortunately no damage was done

Well when you are Spurs manager you can make the decisions.

Personally I would have started him.

It was a silly substitute to make, but that reason he gave of wanting to let the Tranmere fans see him is nonsense I think. Harry just wanted some minutes and he was keeping him happy, it’s like when we’re comfortably winning in games and he leaves him on it’s nuts.

What was silly about it?

Risking our best player for a game that was won particularly with the season were having he’s very much needed.

Unless you’re suggesting our strongest 11 wouldn’t have won?

Sizzle you would have played a fill first team away to tranmere right before Chelsea and united in the same week in two crunch games? You have completely lost the plot.

Some would play the same 11 all game every game.

These are the same people that doesn’t realise without rotation in the cups the likes of Kane wouldn’t be our best player at the club
