We can just buy out Poch's contract if nothing can be agreed with Levy. It'll just come down to Levy. If Levy has promised Poch funds and then backs out, Poch will leave. Real also want him, who I suspect would be his first choice due to Latin America's connection to LA Liga.

Southgate was touted as being on the list along with Poch, Zidane, and a few other names. You can even find reports about being linked to Simone.

Personally, I wouldn't take any (other than reasons to Wum) seriously.

There was even a rumour that Poch was SAF's first choice after LVG but Ed went for Jose. In hindsight, Jose would have been better replacing SAF and Poch better to replacing LVG.

Imo, right now Ole is the best choice.

Sorry fella, what makes you think Poch would leave a better team for a worse team, leave CL for Europa League. Brand new stadium for a Lego set stadium. It ain't happening fella, only in your dreams.

Utd is more like a sad old diva desperate to restore her youth but failing miserably...
City owners could see the demise coming , half of Manchester could see it coming. The red bit clings on to an earlier time but are really now a rather pitiful footnote.

I think Pidier has buried Sandy with his response. But Sandy is brain dead to begin with so he'll rise like a Zombie and keep spouting his nonsense.

Before Jose threw out his toys (it was his third season, so was bound to happen), he finished last season second, above Tottenham. A side who were supposedly far superior to us.

It still amazes me how cocky Spurs fans are these days. Yes they’re a good team who’ve done really well the last few seasons.

But they think they are the best team in the world ever, and so dismissive of United - a club going through its toughest spell in the last 2-3 decades and STILL winning trophies, something Spurs can only dream of right now.

I don’t expect us to win today but I would absolutely love it if we did

Three biggest clubs in the world are Barca, Real and Bayern. All serial winners.

Filtered? You are soft.

JonVeron, there are some decent posters here but Sandy and morespurs are two that most come across and they are very arrogant.

Tottenham finished below us last season. They are now below Liverpool, who they finished ahead of last season and a few seasons for that matter. Unlike Liverpool, they've not taken that next step. At one of the biggest 3 clubs, two who are struggling this season, if Poch were to join either, he will have the funds and the means to do so. And fans who want to do so rather than just be happy making up the numbers as many spurs fans seem to be.

Sandy, you saying United aren't one of the three biggest clubs in the world pretty much proves you are brain dead.

United are 6th in the table, and won nothing last season, so how come you think United are still winning trophies. City are the biggest team in Manchester now, and they are winning trophies.

Man United finishing three times behind Spurs last five seasons, probably again this season

7th
4th
5th
6th
2nd

don`t look to me like a team that is one of the top three clubs currently in world football.

Pretty sure contract law protects that so without us agreeing you can’t just pay his contract.

We could stick him on gardening leave for the remainder of his contract although we obviously wouldn’t

posted on 13/1/19

You could do that, but that wouldn't work out well for you lot, MKSpur.

The one who holds the cards here is Poch. Even with his contract, if Levy makes things hard, he'll have to hope he can find a Poch MKII. You also have two players already looking at themselves and thinking they can get something better elsewhere.

We won 3 trophies and lost another final in that time.

Yea but my point is you can’t just pay his contract out without levy agreeing like you said.

Poch does indeed hold the cards but I’m yet to see anything to indicate he actually wants to leave.
