United fans.. you just have to laugh at their innate ability to believe they can have it all. Not these days fellas, Fergie is long gone. As is the structure and identity he built at the club. Know your place.. fighting and struggling year on year to secure CL football.

Pretty sure all Poch has achieved is scraping top 4.

I think the point that CiC is making is that if United decided they wanted him, and if Poch decided that he wanted to go, then he'd go.

United and Spurs would sort out what that would need to mean financially between them. United would spend what it would take because they'd have both the will and the money, and Levy would know he can't keep a manager who doesn't want to be there.

There really are only two questions for the summer:

1. Do United want Poch?
2. Does Poch want to leave Spurs for United?

The answers to those two questions determine whether he's United or Spurs manager at the start of next season.

If Levy thinks his manager's head might be turned, it's up to him to work out how to try to persuade him to stay. The answer to that little conundrum would, no doubt, involve a lot of money, one way or the other.

Well that is obvious for any player or manager. If say Spurs wanted say Rashford, and he decided he wanted to go to Spurs, then he`d go.

Potch isnt dumb at all, and understands the game Levy plays.

Potch is using the interest to prob make Levy free up funds (funds which spurs fans generate mind) for the summer etc.

Spurs are great but they will continue to tread water and not really kick on unless they invest at some level.

Potch knows Levy cant keep valuing Eriksen at £200 mill, Kane at £300 mill and say he wont let Potch leave for £50 mill, with things as they stand.

Seems Levy likes to value his assets at stupid prices but doesnt want to spend or pay the players a wage in keeping with their value.

Something has to give as Levy cannot have it both ways.

I think Potch knows this and gets backed properly or he leaves and goes where his ambition is matched.
I think this will be a blessing for Spurs as your see Levys true colours. Something has to give.

You cant rate players as the most valuable in the world but refuse to pay em terms players were getting years ago elsewhere.

There is being smart then there is not spending and reinvesting what your fans generate to the point its detrimental to the team, and could be exactly what Spurs need in the summer when this all resurfaces again.

Jose said we could still make top 4 and look at us now, closing in on 4th. You have to say, he has been proven right and therefore we have to question why he was sacked, when he was proven to be right all along.

There are myriad counterexamples with players; situations in which parent clubs have refused to sell.

Off the top of my head, United refused to sell Ronaldo and Heinze; City refused to sell Tevez; West Ham, Payet; Real Madrid, Kovacic; West Brom, Berahino...

He thought we would be top 4 by end of year and he was right when he said it if we won all our matches after he said it lol.

Did he not says your would be 4th nearing the end of January. Not a chance, closer maybe but not 4th.

Spurs lost as many games as Arsenal and us with 5 losses each. They are more lucky to fluked wins in games they were poor in regularly than us.

Isn`t like investing a billion in a brand new stadium sort of like investing at some level.

I never quite get the media nonsense that Levy does not invest he does. He just does not waste money. You don`t keep a team in the top three of the Premier League, for what is it coming up to four years now, if you haven`t invested at all.

Which United fans do you think need to calm down? My guess is you can't name many other than Hafi.

City and Chelsea will be hoping Spurs do them a massive favour today by beating United, their only realistic title rivals. The PC mad media trying to be inclusive saying spurs and Liverpool have a chance like they always say, when neither have ever won the league. With Coutinho on the way in January United will be difficult to catch. It's pretty clear we are the best team in the league now, and the best team always ends up winning the league.

As a neutral, I think Spurs will win today but I’m hoping for a United win.

If Pogba has one of his good days then United can get a result.
