looking like a poor night for us regarding rivals
Looking better now Cinci, after Tottenham's late recovery sank Watford and left us in 7th place. Yes Bournemouth humiliated Chelsea who will be on the phone to Frank Lampard tomorrow, and Leicester managed a point at Anfield having failed to do the same to a superior team a week or so ago.
We're still closer to Chelsea and Arsenal than they are Liverpool. Not too shabby really
And its 8th v 7th on Saturday
Turned out well tonight Wulfrun in the end though suspect Bournemouth will have a good spell now after that.
Time to start looking at a points total rather than position i think and have to think we will break 50 now and likely be pushing mid fifties and that will have us very close as i don't see anyone outside of Everton and perhaps Leicester if they pull it together getting that many points.
I think we’ll improve second half of the season and could be around the 60 point mark... or maybe a few more
Sarri can't have long left now. Abramovich is not noted for his patience and Sarri is doing a Mourinho and alienating his players. Not a good move!

Only 14 games left halfy, so 42 points available, we won't be picking up 25 points
Just gone through our remaining fixtures and as the prediction legend that i am around these parts i can confirm that we will end up on 54 points.

Well i guess we should start looking, who shall we replace him with?
Everton have a problem at left back for Saturday’s game. Leighton Baines got a rare start against Hudddrsfield this week but had to go off with a rib injury. He was replaced by first choice left back Digne who was sent off ten minutes later.

Saiss has looked really uncomfortable on the right side of the back three. So that would mean moving Boly, which would also be risky as he looks at home on the left hand side and also provides the extra passing angles Nuno likes with a right footed player there.
Whilst Saiss did well against West Ham, we have to remember that the defence wasn't overly tested and he also struggled against Leicester and Shrewsbury. He seems ok as a back up to Boly and an extra midfield option, but I don't think he is more than that.
Jonny signs a 4 year contract
Great news on Jonny, and we are going to get some cash from the Vokes to Stoke deal that is now being quoted as £7m with Crouch going in the opposite direction
As for Saiss I think he has done well the last few games and I have been saying for a while that the left side of defence could prove to be his best position in time. But I don't think he is as good as Boly and to me, when Boly is available he plays.
Saiss is very left footed and I don't see him being successful on the right side of the defence, but then Bennett has been doing fine there anyway
Wonder if we will see an old friend playing against us in the cup replay. Shrewsbury have today signed Scott Golborne
Sheff Utd have loaned Leon to Wigan for the rest of the season. How many clubs has that guy played for now? Every club he goes to seems quite keen to offload him after a while!
