We have got to the point where we refer to quality like Saiss as dead wood

We used to buy players such as Leon, Wallace, ALF (no offence and good luck to them)

But

Now we buy Neves, Mutty and Otto

And the Bogshites are nowhere to be seen

Speaking of bogshites, I just popped onto their board expecting them to be excited about possible signings. No-one has made a comment on there for 4 days!
It seems that their 'fans' have given up, packed up and pizzed off

Phil Ofosu-Ayeh to Würzburger Kickers, on loan for remainder of the season

Joe Mason has had his contract cancelled so that's another one gone.
So in summary, we signed one, who was already here, sent 3 out on loan and got shot of 4. Plus we got lots of lolly from Stoke for Afobe and we will be getting a nice little bung from Burnley for selling Sam Vokes.

If nothing else at least we pretty much balanced the books with regards to the transfer window.

Having just looked at the Neves goals, again, I was wondering about his celebration and found out that it comes from Andrea Pirlo: I think therefore I play book, just for those that didn't know. ๐Ÿ‘ˆ

Don't forget Batth too Gem. I find it hilarious that Stoke have effectively bank rolled the Jonny deal. Living in Stafford, there's loads of plastic clay 'eads around here that all of a sudden are finding themselves too busy to getup the A34 on Saturday afternoons.

No didn't forget about Danny, he's one of the 4 I referrred to as getting shot of.

Total Income for the window
Batth - £2.5m
Iorfa - £0.5m
Afobe - £12m
Vokes c. £2.5m
Total - £17.5m
Less £15m for Jonny
Leaves a nice little £2.5m profit to keep FFP happy.

Ffp is a farce and has closed the shop at the top, man city and Chelsea are up there because they didn't have to follow ffp rules, they couldn't do that now.

After giving season ticket holder the inconvenience of not being able to book their own seats for the cup replay, they have now decided to open the whole stadium after all, and it looks likely to be a sell out

Wolves confirming they did have an enquiry from Boro to take Traore back on transfer deadline day but say they had no interest in letting him go

Presume that Boly for Saiss will be the only change to the team that beat West Ham. Good test to see how good this team is today. We will field our strongest 11, and go in good form and face a team that will likely finish in the top half of the table. So it will be a good measure of where we are at

Everton are the perennial top half mid table team in the prem. They are always favourites to finish in the coveted 7th spot and so for that reason I see them as our strongest rivals.
They have certainly not been at their best lately and if Wolves can produce a repeat performance from last time out, I can only forsee a win for Wolves.
Whatever the result, it should be a good game between two proper footballing sides.

About 30 tickets left in the home parts of the ground for the cup replay, although the Community Stand wont be open so that brings capacity to about 28,000. Shrewsbury have quite a few tickets unsold though
