Seems that we may be prepared to let Traore go if we can get the Iranian Messi as a replacement

Sheff Utd have loaned Leon to Wigan for the rest of the season. How many clubs has that guy played for now? Every club he goes to seems quite keen to offload him after a while!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Has been at Wigan before so I guess they wanted a proven championship goalscorer
Boly comes straight back in for me.Thank you Saiss, you did a job, but you will not good enough going forward.
Going over to the Everton forum, they do seem to have an arrogance, and seem to think they are more than they are.
They still think we are newbies who will inevitably settle into a decent mid table team. there is no chance of us competing at the top, as they haven't been able to.
They also point at our first game of the season against them as some sort of pointer. down to ten men they still gave us a game, which is true. But they seem to ignore it was our first game back in the top flight, and we were certainly nervous on the day. We are a very different beast now.
I really think we have turned a corner, and the biggest reason for that is Jota and his return to form.
Jota is a massive player for us, and has quickly formed a partnership with Jiminez, finally achieving the one thing we were missing goals.
Of course, Dendonker is also a big plus, and overall we have a team that they really have no idea about.
No matter how good a team you are, you can lose any game, Man City says hi. But I really do think we have taken a step above Everton.
Away win.
Not really sure why there is a discussion regarding Saiss really? Boly is the better defender and will come back into the side and Saiss will continue to be a more than capable and not to mention vital back up in a few positions.
Do you see Saiss at Wolves in the long term Cinci?
Hard to say. He has already proven he is good enough at this level but at the same time we are aiming very high and will naturally continue to strengthen the side and he is 4th in the 'depth chart' in midfield and defence.
Assuming we make the appropriate additions then no problem with him leaving in the summer but Nuno is a big fan and may not want to lose such a versatile player.
To me he moves on in the summer. sure he has done a decent enough job, but we have already moved on from him with Dendonker.
We need to be ruthless with our pruning of the sqaud, not only to get the best value out of a player, but to give room for the new growth to thrive.
No point pruning until we strengthen
Lots of reason to prune Cinci. too many clubs carry deadwood because they don't.
Not sure Saiss can be classed as deadwood when it was his inclusion they began this change we now see and then we have had him cover well in defence also.
As we add then fair enough but it is a squad game now and as it stands Saiss is one of a handful outside the first eleven that is good enough at this level.
Yes, but I have been reading the West ham and Everton forums recently.
They are complaining about a lot of deadwood. Most of them would have been exactly how you have just described Saiss.
Well I guess they are morons.
Or maybe they hung onto them too long.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Saiss leave in the summer.
It would be silly to get rid of Saiss before strengthening. We only have him and MGW as cover for the three midfield places and only Saiss as cover for defence.
Get rid of Saiss and we are one or two injuries away from being in real trouble. I can't really class someone as deadwood if they are our main back up, who could also still play a role if someone loses form.
I'm not saying get rid, I'm saying that is the type of player we should be looking to let go.
Same as Barry Douglas, many wanted to keep him, Wolves chose to move forward.
I fully expect Saiss to leave if we make signings. I don't expect him to leave if we don't though. His versatility makes him an important asset at the moment really.
At the moment I agree, lets just make sure we don't drag out that moment.
Assuming we make the right additions in the summer then saiss, Costa, cav will be the ones that play this year that are closest to the door and then likely Bennett
What happens with Saiss will probably come down to what Saiss wants. I don’t see him becoming a regular at this level at any position. So as with a few others it may be down to whether he accepts that or wants regular games.
Last summer I felt that the likes of him, Cavaleiro and Bonatini would not get many starts. But then again I would have said the same about Coady and Bennett who have both had excellent seasons
Bristol City v Shrewsbury or Wolves has been selected for tv coverage and will now be on Sunday 17th Feb at 12:30
After scoring his second goal on Tuesday, our Mexican striker jumped over the advertising wall and was booked for celebrating with the fans.
If Donald Trump had seen this Mexican jumping a wall he would probably have had him shot
Leo away to Nottingham Forest on loan for the remainder of the season.
Hope he does really well and finds his shooting boots again.
Plenty good enough for the championship provided forest use him right
We used to buy players such as Leon, Wallace, ALF (no offence and good luck to them)
But
Now we buy Neves, Mutty and Otto
And the Bogshites are nowhere to be seen
Indeed, we have left the championship long behind
