Defoe will most likely play well and score before being replaced by Lafferty around 60/70 mins.

You won't miss Morelos and have increased your chances of getting through the 90 mins with 11 players on the pitch.

Totally disagree mate. He's key to how we play. Defoe will play much more on the periphery of the game. Potentially scoring but not nearly as involved. Morelos link up play has been sensational this year.
Hate seeing us without him.
I reckon we'll be heavily reliant on Kent.

Was offered a ticket but stayed out last night after pulling in Maggie mays so don't think I'll be moving from my couch all day.

Kent is a much better player than Morelos.

If, as a result of Morelos being out, Kent gets more of the ball and more chance to be creative, you'll be better off assuming that Defoe is fit enough to get through matches.

Morelos doesn't do link up play other than when the ball hits off his shinnies and bounces to a teammate.

He seems happy and will know from his Bristol(?) loan that not every move will work out.

Quietly confident we'll have him next year.

I suspect Liverpool will want him to play in a better league, they may put him abroad for a year in Germany or something.

That's only if they are thinking of keeping him long term though, they may want to sell him on to us. We shall see.

I would rather we keep Morelos in the summer than Kent. However, I can't see us keeping either tbh.

Morelos has just signed an extension to his contract, Kent is on loan till the summer.

Morelos will be away in the summer.

The contract extension means nothing though Laudrup. All it does is mean we can ask for more of a transfer fee and it keeps him happier in the short term. If a team comes in with big money, he'll be gone and he'll probably push for the move.

Think there’s more chance of Kent coming back on loan. Heard talk of an option on him but I can’t see us getting him permanently.

The indiscipline is also good for squad harmony in a way, as it means Defoe and Lafferty will get games and not take the huff. So it's a good side effect from a negative situation.
