We have a good first XI. However we don't have depth. We have journeymen as back ups - King and Nugent. We persist with a poor inconsistent TomLawrence. We have a potential premier full back in Wisdom but he doesn't perform. We have an excellent centre half in Keogh but if I was him I'd fnck off like a shot with the under appreciation he gets. We have 3 pivotal players on loan who won't be here next year. We harbour dreams about a cup which we will not win. We are the Derby way and I'm getting older.

I wouldn't deem King a journeyman. Nugent yes.
Frustrating result, inconsistent performances, odd team selection, lack of killer instict. Take your pick.
15 games to go, if by some miracle we won all 15 we'd have a chance at autos. As that isn't likely, do you see us winning enough points for Play Offs?

I still we will be dependent on the other teams dropping points and us just keeping on the coat tails.
Can't see better than 6th.
Quite possible Desi. We are where we are and no team has been really consistent. Shef Utd, Leeds, Boro and Norwich etc. have all had good runs but no one has really nailed it yet.

Lawrence lucky deflection, but at least he shot.

Don't think he's worthy of deleting, he's such a lonely sap, even his own fans don't like him. Let him think that he has a little worth.
His own fans and most of JA.
Anybody think Wilson was "saving" himself for Satdee?
Anyway. If I I had to be disappointed, or indeed to celebrate, no company I would rather be in than with you all.
And on the telly again on Saturday. Night all
Night gang
A cup game at least to look forward to.
Only just noticed only outside the playoffs on GD.
Not so bad.
You know, I think that we might just still surprise ourselves.

You mean getting his worst game for us out of the way ?
'Lawrence lucky deflection, but at least he shot.'
Wonder what made him stop shooting after that ?
Gonna save you the complete spleen spew bro.
We disappeared after the goal.
I know we all wish for an early goal but it seems to be detrimental to us when we do.
An I mean away from home more so.
We couldn't impose ourselves on the game and were drawn into playing their sort of game.
90-odd minutes of Ipswichball has done my head in. Night bro
It would be so typical of our season so far that yet again we struggle against this garbage but then give Brighton a lesson on Saturday.
Mornin y'all

That game wasn't really worthy of a separate article, although it was quite exciting at the end.
We knew how Ipswich wanted to play and could do nothing to prevent it. No real presence in midfield, an inability to hang on to the ball and some kamikaze passing to blame. Too many '5s' from our players. Good job we got the early goal, but we gifted them the equaliser.
Not read the thread, but I expect that BJ came in for some criticism. He made errors sure, but if he hadnt scrapped and done a lot of the dirty work in MF, we'd have lost that. We were much more balanced at the end with Brys on, but, as a supporter of TL, I couldnt believe he was still on the pitch. Wilson's control was poor all game.
Was listening to the Ipswich fans on the train home and they said that was their best performance of the season. Thank heavens we havent had to put up with that.
Watched Frank's interview and he clearly was not happy. After we scored we never took the sting out the game. It became frantic and we were constantly giving the ball away. Ipswich did nothing but work very hard and we never took care of the ball enough. We had enough chances late on to win the game but that is 2 points dropped but 6 unbeaten. Millwall at home next and we must win that.
I think that secretly we are still waiting for others to implode spectacularly.
Huddz no play, no keep ball.
Short and to the point, Vidal
