Well that is maybe down to not having a settled defence, and that is wholly on the managers shoulders.
I always maintain that any good team has to absolutely have a settled back four, five, and then the rest of the team just takes care of itself. Pochettino has changed the defence every game this season, that is truly shocking management. He needs to go.
Them 2 extra CL games means more rotation for the league games that follow

Who do you think will do a better job given the restrictions on player purchase.
You will regret it if Madrid gets him.
This was a game of two halves. First half we dominated but did not take our many chances. Going in at HT only 0-1 up was a premonition of disaster.
Sure, our defense was a total shambles second half, and they missed half-a-dozen really good chances to score.
But you have to think Pochettino is resting players and trying to deal with the thin squad that he has. KWP needs match practice, and where better to get it than against a relegation side?
Resting Toby might have been a mistake, but ......

Still maintain that was a disastrous decision to let Dembele go though, he offered the defence so much protection.

My only criticism of poch is he trusts our squad too much when there is a lot not up to it and today he puts 4 players who haven't played 90 minutes in ages in today's team.
Has run out of ideas at times this season with the crop because this is his 4th season with most of them now and missed opportunities at their peak to win a trophy.
No new faces and players declining in performance in the spurs shirt is costing us dear this final 3rd of the season. Top 4 still of course possible but we can only drop points in 2 max 3 more games imo

Ted this is not fantasy football. Why do you give players match practice in must win games. Without a game for nearly three weeks, absolutely no need to change a defence that kept a clean sheet midweek at one of the top clubs in Europe.
It is so obvious what the problem is, constant fecking rotation of the defence.
Danny Rose was responsible for the first goal.
But truth is they should have had 2 already by then.
We were damned lucky to get away 2-1.

100 percent mate. Makes me sick thinking of that. He needed replacing properly last summer. And we failed to replace Walker. Sanchez is a downgrade on toby. Eriksen not looking like he wants to play for spurs. All factors
