I'm assuming Grabban won't play. I think that Ansarifard did enough on Saturday to merit starting against Villa. I liked the diamond in midfield but I think MON will revert to 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1 which would see Carvalho starting behind Ansarifard. I wouldn't expect either of them to play 90 minutes.

Hope its as good a game as first one.

MON walking out for maybe right reasons was the start of our dramatic demise.

WE were such a good side under him .

Bristol drawing atm!

If we win and derby don't then we go top six tomorrow!!!

What a chance Forest!

I think Brizzle have gone

Brizzle have virtually the same team as last season. Helps in terms of cohesion but they seem to be losing their mojo just at the wrong time, as they did last season. Opens up the field for the likes of Forest, Villa and Sheff Weds who all appear ready to pounce.

Doesn’t look like Grabban will be fit by the sounds of it. I’m hoping it is a bit of fun and games form MoN as he is Forest’s best chance of making the top 6 based on his goal scoring record this season.

Ansarifard got off the mark on Saturday and that could spark him into action. He had a decent run for Iran in the Asian Cup so is arguably more match fit than Bonatini. Bonatini has the experience of last season’s promotion charge with Wolves under his belt, though.

MoN will be well aware of the clamour to include Carvalho after his meaty strike v Hull on Saturday. Villa will have Grealish looking to unpick the Forest defence. MoN may be tempted to have Carvalho in playing a similar role for Forest.

I think Murphy will be rested ready for a more physical battle against the likes of Chambers at Ipswich next Saturday. I’m expecting quite a texhnical game this evening against Villa so a more mobile striker, maybe Ansarifard, could be the better option.

Surely there won’t be anywhere near 10 goals again?!...

Brizzle team is similar to last season but they did sell their two best players in the summer. Sheff Wed are the form team at the moment.

I do think Murf will have a rest tonight. One game a week is a lot for him never mind two. Also have a feeling that Grabban could be on the bench tonight. I hope Appiah is also on the bench and is given a run although that is more likely to happen on Saturday.

In his interview MON said he wants to give it a real go tonight so I expect us to sit back and invite them on.

Also expect Watson to be in to look after Grealish.

"Also expect Watson to be in to look after Grealish."

Is he mobile enough for that job?

Good point Bear.

I suppose whoever is nearest might pick him up. Though that is a slightly more risky strategy.

For the match at Villa Park our CBs were D@wson and Figs. Different proposition for them tonight.

There is going to be a mad scramble! I was considering getting one but there is little chance as most of the 22,000 from this season will renew, no doubt.

Tough game tonight, and could go either way. Looks like Grabban will be missing again, and Murfreesboro definitely due a rest, worth Ansifarad a chance, I thought he looked good on Saturday when he came on. Cash might return, should be on the bench at worst. If we play like the last half hour from Saturday I think we can win this one, but if MON tries the diamond again I fancy Villa. I am opting for a 2-1 win.

A mate just called and has won two tickets in the Cloughie Stand so I’ll check in later!

I’d love to see Cash back on the pitch. His energy helps drive the team up the pitch. Always a good option to have onboard.

TWO CHANGES: could be a midfield diamond again or a straight out 4-3-3. Let's go with this:

Pantilimon

Darikwa, Milosevic, Benalouane, Osborn

Yates, Pele, Colback

Lolley, Ansarifard, Carvalho

Subs: Steele, Guedioura, Watson, Murphy, Wague, Goncalves, Bonatini

Interesting line up but I like it! History (and my general pessimism) would suggest we’ll lose this. Too good for us to win and take advantage of other teams dropping points. Don’t fancy our left side of Carvalho has to track back for Osborn.

Bad team.
Terrible team.
MON out.
Greeks out.
Kitchen sink out.

Not really,
I’m quite happy with that line up but with both lolley and joao upfield we’re at little lightweight up top imo

Both Pele & Yates are capable of getting up in support surely?
