I agreeing with HB here. The only question I have left is why did the dogs bark? There was no plausible alternative theory given in the Docu. So I am respectfully asking if someone could clear that up.

Are you blaming the McCanns for being frauded? Not sure if I understand your last comment. Easy to do what? Spending money thats not yours? What has that got to do with anything? They are desperate to find their girl, the police stopped looking at that time, they hired a detective who turned out to be a fraud. Not sure what is wrong with that. Even if someone else paid for it.

It's more than that and you know it.
It would mean for them to be innocent Maddie would have to have been abducted from a place where a dead body was previously, this dead body was never reported and then you would need to explain how that got onto Kate's clothes and Maddie's cuddlecat.

It's doubtful however that an expert would state anything different from the experts in the reports who conclusively proved that the dogs alerted to other bodily fluids, whether alive or dead.

I don't know how accurate the dogs are but the cadaver scent was found on cuddlecat and Kate's clothes, not the general apartment.

The dog EVRD is trained using whole and disintegrated material, blood, bone tissue, teeth, etc. and decomposed cross-contaminants. The dog will recognize all or parts of a human cadaver. He is not trained for 'live' human odours; no trained dog will recognize the smell of 'fresh blood'. They find, however, and give the alert for dried blood from a live human being.

The cadaver dogs absolutely picked up on something in two seperate places that the McCanns were. That's pretty damning tbh.
Enough for a prosecution? Clearly not.
Suspicious as fvck? Absolutely.
The dogs are the only hard evidence that point towards the McCann's being involved.
I thought every single thing aside from that could have another feasible explanation and the documentary did a good job of showing the viewer that.
I just cannot totally believe them until someone provides a proper explanation about the cadaver scent. Although i lean more towards innocence than guilt now.
Let's face it they're guilty of something either way.

Are you blaming the McCanns for being frauded? Not sure if I understand your last comment. Easy to do what? Spending money thats not yours? What has that got to do with anything? They are desperate to find their girl, the police stopped looking at that time, they hired a detective who turned out to be a fraud. Not sure what is wrong with that. It's more than that and you know it.
It would mean for them to be innocent Maddie would have to have been abducted from a place where a dead body was previously, this dead body was never reported and then you would need to explain how that got onto Kate's clothes and Maddie's cuddlecat.

It's doubtful however that an expert would state anything different from the experts in the reports who conclusively proved that the dogs alerted to other bodily fluids, whether alive or dead.

The dog EVRD is trained using whole and disintegrated material, blood, bone tissue, teeth, etc. and decomposed cross-contaminants. The dog will recognize all or parts of a human cadaver. He is not trained for 'live' human odours; no trained dog will recognize the smell of 'fresh blood'. They find, however, and give the alert for dried blood from a live human being.

The dogs are the only hard evidence that point towards the McCann's being involved.
I thought every single thing aside from that could have another feasible explanation and the documentary did a good job of showing the viewer that.
I just cannot totally believe them until someone provides a proper explanation about the cadaver scent. Although i lean more towards innocence than guilt now.
