Their perception of the job he did for us is so backwards. Not about how will he did on the job itself (that's debatable) but this weird notion that he did us a favor.
The biggest irony in all this is we resurrected his career. No-one wanted any part of him after destroying Mourinho's Inter and we gave him that opportunity he desperately needed to put himself back on the map, he needed us WAY more than we needed him. As I said in a response to Brummie yesterday, instead of calling us $cumbags for booing a man who once referred to us as plastic to buy cheap favor with them, they should be thanking us for offering their beloved waiter a career lifeboat.
