a. egypt is an "arabised" country...not really ethnically "arab"

b."arab" is not a race either

modern Egyptians are between 5-30% black african...depending on what part of the country they are from

coptic Christian eygptians typically have less SSA admixture (similar to ancient egyptians in pharoic times)..as they have had less influence from migrations from SSA in recent centuries

the bulk of the ancestry of Egyptians is "caucasian"...typically indigenous North african and West Asian

You can still be racist against Muslims. Islam isn't a race, but it has been heavily racialised to the point where even Sikhs get subjected to Islamophobic abuse because of their brown skin and long beards.

Those features epitomise the western perception of the what a 'typical' Muslim looks like.

some of Salah's facial features and his hair form suggest SSA ancestry is present (maybe at 15-20% ? )
