I believe they are face value but somehting like £4.50 admin charge paid by the buyer.

I'm not going tomorrow but sold my ticket to a mate for £10 under face value

Does seem like there's loads of tickets and its going to be well under 60k

This is what happens when Season Tickets are so expensive. Season Ticket Holders don't want to lose their Season Ticket yet can't really afford them at the same time, so are going to re-sell some of the tickets for less glamorous matches.

I would be very interested to see the attendance...

I would expect around the 50k mark......

this kind of game will show us what the true level of attendance will be...... probably the least glamorous game of the season, but still with the new stadium, so lots of fans who haven't been will want to go....

I suspect that we can expect 50k attendances for most games a season apart from the biggest games, or those Saturday 3pm

Yeah I was thinking attendance would still be close to sell out because it's only the 3rd game at the new stadium.

Surely more than that, Chronic? Not selling 10k tickets on only our third game there would be terrible.

I very much doubt Huddersfield end would be full... plus game on TV....

I find that unbelievable. If games against small clubs consistently only sell at around £50k, maybe the club will reconsider its ticket pricing.

The club say that the game is sold out and the only legit way to get a ticket is on the official exchange/share sites. So if the gate is 50k thats one hell of alot of stay aways.

These are the sort of games where our honesty leaves us open to p1ss taking as we all know that certain other London clubs will give the attendance as full even though swathes of empty seats are visible.

I think it will be a lot more than 50,000 mate, nearer to 58,000 or so. Just annoying that lots of supporters wanted tickets and there will be probably aroundabout 4,000 empty seats. They could have put them on General Sale.

maybe 50k is too low... but I don't think Huddersfield will fill their end...

I am surprised that so many tickets are up for the first Saturday game. But:

1. The STs are far too expensive so TixEx is a great way to claw back money
2. Remember they only announced we'd be moving back to WHL relatively recently, so people have plans.

I've got two STs but will only be able to go to half the games, what with childcare etc. Life does get in the way of football sometimes.

All in all TixEx is a brilliant idea. StubHub was a fakin joke and the club should be ashamed of having gone down that route previously despite all the pressure from THST etc.

My ST has effectively gone up nearly 40% for example.

Edbo, there will be a lot more than 50,000, just will be more empty seats than there should be, when they could have been sold. I wish they only made about 35,000 tickets available to season tickets holders, and then just sell tickets to members, of which there are something like 150,000 all scambling for like 7,000 or 8,000 tickets.

no way is there 150k members sandy... that figure is closer to 90k

posted on 12/4/19

The thing is whereas season ticket holders got their money back if they did not attend at Wembley, they will not if their ticket does not get sold at the new ground. It will be their own fault, they should not be able to just pick and choose which games they go to, and get their money back from the games they don`t want to go to. Genuine cases I have sympathy for.

I'm confused Sandy. If a ST holder puts his ticket back into the exchange doesn't that mean any other Spurs fan can buy it? Genuine question, never used it with my ST or otherwise. Looking forward to the early KO on Saturday. COYS

I think only members can buy the tickets. Problem is they are going on so late, like a day or two before the match. So supporters who may have been trying to get a ticket when the went on sale, say a week or two ago, couldn`t get one, so then don`t bother now, because they have arranged to do something else.

Don't really agree Sandy on some of this.

Like a lot of season ticket holders, I started out as a member and joined a waiting list with around 35000 in front of me, but knowing I would get a chance to get hold of a S/T when the new stadium came along. How many others chose not to do this and are now unhappy.

Like a lot of others, I put up with Wembley for a year, then another 9 months, because I knew eventually I would get my S/T at the new stadium.

The fact is I would never have got to the top of the list at the old WHL in a million years.

I agree we all pay through the nose for the privilege, but like every one else, if I give up my S/T just because I can't get to every game, I would never get a chance to buy another one in the future.

I attend around 75% of home games, and don't pick and choose due to the opposition, eg I am going to the Huddersfield game.

Like others, I simply have other commitments in life on occasional match days that prevent me from going. It does not make me any less a supporter.

To say people should be forced to give up their S/T simply because they have things come up outside of football, is ridiculous. That person has joined the waiting list, paid their money, and frankly are not simply gonna give it up to please others.

Whilst there are always individual circumstances, surely the people now moaning ( at every home
game ) that they can't get a ticket, should have joined the waiting list, and chosen to take up the S/T offer 2 years ago like the rest of us.

The ticket exchange system is a positive step to ease some of this issue, but bottom line has always been that none S/T holders will always be down the list for match day tickets.

I don't get your complaint, I really don't. It's the perfect system.

There are times when something comes up last a day or two before a match that means you can no longer make. In the past I'd text a few mates to see if anybody wants the ticket and if not then that's an empty seat waiting to be filled by someone.
