I've not seen the penalty decision yet, but if the linesman was correct it was the first time in the game, he was useless and missed several offsides for both teams.

Lost for words.

Really thought we would give this a go, we flopped big style.

Not sure. Leeds could have scored 3 or so. But they didn't. We still have a great chance..............

Oh I don't know, I thought it was one of your best performances

I'm back from PP.

Leeds are a good side, but not that good. Once again Derby did not perform whichever may be a tad unfair as we DID perform against Bristol and WBA.

So, why not today? Too many players were anonymous, yes we bossed it in the first 10 but then Leeds showed their tactical nous (courtesy of Bielsa's nous) and just started to turn the metaphorical screw. Gently but effectively.

Nugent? Sorry but a lovely chap and has had a great career but why play him ahead of Marriot or even Bennett? Physicality is a Leeds strength and they were able to boss the physical, stuff and not get caught. We, in our naivety did.

Penalty or no penalty, red card for the head butt or not, isn't it a pity that such decisions are made by inept hapless officials with no recourse?

Still, no excuse. We can still do this. Leeds are good but not THAT good.

2-0 on Wednesday will be enough

It’s space I think View. City and Wet Bum gave us space Villa and Leeds deny us space.

FL obviously doesn’t believe in a deep lying playmaker preferring a mobile physical defensive midfielder.

I’m not sure how we beat the press with the team he picks. A CF that drops deep, holds the ball up or stretches play maybe would help open up some space.

Not sure we have the personnel to switch play easily, create triangles on the wings or play 1 touch footy without 2nd guessing. We did do it for first 10 mins though.

Can we sign Fabinho for Wednesday ???

As Igor said. Its HT and 0-1.

Granted we will be playing uphill and into the wind in the second half. But, if we do it, we are worthy of the finals.

If not.......then a summer full of what ifs, signings and speculations.

Footy life goes on.....COYR

You do know that we are here to encourage the troops don't you?

Perhaps a bit more participation, belief, and grip between now and Wednesday would not go amiss?
