Well, that was a little disappointing. Hopefully we can pull through on Wednesday. Not a bad season considering most fans would have been happy with a top 12. Onwards and uppards you rams ( must admit we are not ready!!)
Mono, don't think I've seen anything from any of the playoff teams today to persuade me that they could survive more than one season in the Prem
We'll get space in the Premier they should just give it to us save all the other teams the hassle.
Leeds have put us off our game every time this season and we have failed to play our way around it. To have any chance we need to do something different. Maybe Huddz and Johnson together, maybe even Huddz and Evans to hold the midfield, 4-2-3-1 and then push the full-backs on to give the width.
Leeds deserved to win today but they are no great shakes. We could get at them. Having seen the penalty decision the ref got it right initially. The Leeds player kicked Bogle’s calf. In fact the ref did incredibly well to see it, not so well to listen to the idiot on the line. The headbutt thing was nothing really, Huddlestone’s was worse but a red for either wasn’t necessary.
We can still do it. We have pulled results out of the bag this season at Norwich, West Brom, Bristol, Man United away. Needs a big brave performance though and belief from everyone.
Just got home, what a wonderful railway service we (don't) have on a Saturday evening!
We gave Leeds their goal today. One slight slip-up and they took full advantage.
Everyone I spoke to said it wasn't a penno, but I've not seen it yet (I was in the North stand).
Pity if it was as you say vidal!
Why did FL sub Holmes and not BJ (who did two-tenths of feck-all)? Was it because he had just been booked?
I'd support the double pivot Vidals et al. It can invite a high pressing team on but would allow Huddz protection to try and play Mount, Wilson and TL in.
I would like to see us take it to them 2nd half though if we can weather the storm first half.
I think this would be our most attacking lineup:
...............Huddz...................
...Holmes..........Mount..........
..Wilson.....Wag/M'tt.....TL..
Just don't think FL will pick Huddz, think he sees the Regista as unnecessary. In a decent side with wide players that can hold the ball up and play football maybe, think in our team we need one.
Really think Leeds tired 2nd half though and really think this is doable.
Frankly my dear I don't give a damn.
Wednesday night is throw caution to the wind.
View, did you see the Leeds fan in the North Stand nearly get lynched after they scored? He was sat about six rows in front of me?

Only reason I can think of, but he do do the same v WBA
We were looking fragile on the counter attack so maybe he thought that was more protective.
I think Huddz was a defensive move more than an attacking one.
When Huddz comes on I reckon the average weight of the team doubles.
He's one big unit.
Holmes had a knock in the West Brom game, maybe he didn’t have a full ninety minutes in him. I thought he was our best player yesterday.
We are still in this game. Leeds could have missed a big chance to put the tie out of Derbys reach yesterday.
It’s a cup final on Wednesday which we are starting 1-0 down. Well we was 2-0 down at both Norwich and Southampton earlier this season and 1-0 at Man Utd early in the game so we aren’t expecting anything the team isn’t capable of overcoming
Lull them into a false sense of security and release the hounds on Wednesdsay.
As long as waghorn is fit and starts, or if not then Frank forgives Marriott for shatting on Christine's pillow and starts him instead of David "I'm never going to score again" Nugent then we are in with a shot.
The tie is far from over.
It seems as if Marriott has been a naughty boy, he has been late for training and when he does turn up he doesn’t try. One day he phoned in sick and later was seen on the golf course.
I didn’t think he was any better than Nugent yesterday and I would rather see Chris Martin up front.

I saw the kerfuffle, nothing for security to do, the North Stand Massif sorted it out (without any swearing with it being the family stand) and the miscreant was sent packing very much the wiser.
Vc10 I'm glad you've wrote that, I've been sniffing around a couple of other message boards looking for Intel and a couple of different people have also knowingly suggested Marriott isn't playing because he isn't training hard enough.
The occasion he was seen on the golf course was the day of the Blackburn away game when he was told he won’t be travelling with the squad to the game. Brentford away he wasn’t picked to even travel to London so he spent the weekend in Beverley with his girlfriend and little un.
I’ve told him to ask the manager if he’s in his plans and if not ask to move on. At least if he does move on it will free up some ££ for frank in the summer
There has to be something more to it griff. He was fast becoming the golden boy, our talisman, starting every game and scoring in most of them as well, yet all of a sudden he isn't even travelling with the squad to games. Something has definitely gone on. Especially to start useless Nugent ahead of him for the most important game of the season.

Look how far Malone is from Roofe, (Roos just failed to get his leg on it);
