I don't think he gets enough attention in real life.

No idea about all the politics on the utd board but i would be terrified going into next season with Ole as manager, it is as clear as the nose on Mick McCarthys face he is the wrong man for the job.

It doesn't actually matter who we have as manager the next twelve months, so it may as well be Ole.

What matters is who we have overseeing the trimming, rebuilding and development of the squad.

It cannot continue to be Woodward, and it cannot be another manager we aren't prepared to give the job without reservation for 36 months.

We're in dire straits because we have no sporting strategy. That's the bottom line.

Agreed. The squad is a mess because of a complete lack of long term planning about the direction of the football.

I was encouraged to see Gomes, McTominay & Greenwood put in good performances. We’ve also got some good prospects on loan. The best we can hope for next season is that Ole is given time to bring young players through, make some shrewd signings and clear some of the deadwood in the squad.

Of course, it would be helpful if this was being overseen by a clear footballing strategy that came from a designated footballing department so that if and when Ole leaves, there is continuity in recruitment, scouting, style of play and so on.

I dont like Jose, he never should have been appointed and the only mistake we made with this sacking was that it wasnt done sooner.

That being said, these past couple of months I have definitely started to reach a bit more of a middle ground with some of the things he did.

We all know the manager is not the main problem here. If you think Poch would come in and make everything better you are living in complete la la land.

We all know what your M.O is here though Robb. Its actually laughable now.

I blame Mourinho most, to be honest.

We didn't blow it. We decided Europe next season was better than getting beat by City in the final.

It's called planning for the future and prioritising.👍

The scale of the job for ole has only really become apparent in the last couple of months.

We can't get any worse. If we finish 10th we're in a similar position to what we are now.

There aren't many options out there, even if we did sack Ole. We'd need somebody happy to take over a club in the most competitive league in Europe and be in it for 5 years minimum.

Give Ole a summer to do what he wants and then a season to see how things shape up. We loved what we saw for the first half of his tenure so far.
