We should definitely be looking towards the idea of loaning back any players that we buy from the lower leagues to the team that we buy them from/another team at that level. Worked so well for us with the likes of Kyle Walker and Dele, and it gives the selling club an extra incentive to do business as they still have the player for a period of time.

We should be doing this with Clarke from Leeds and potentially even Ryan Sessegnon too.

No definitely not with Sessegnon. He’s had enough time at Fulham, he was the main man in Fulham’s promotion season in the Championship (scored 17 goals I think) and has had a season in the Prem. He’s been there and done it. Another long hard season in the Championship is not what he needs at all.

He needs to progress to the next stage of his development - playing among better players, in European football, for a coach that can help him reach his potential. Last season Fulham bought 15 new players and changed managers 3 times, that’s a joke - what chance did Sess have to keep learning and developing? He needs consistent coaching from Poch and his team now, or it’ll be another year down the drain.

Fair points Ace. I was thinking along the lines of the fact that he is still only 18 and we don't need him yet. I get what you mean about coaching from Poch but look at the wonders that first team football did for the likes of Walker and Dele.

I have no confidence Levy will get our number 1 targets over the line so resigned myself to missing out on the likes of N’Dombele etc

what you mean to say is the club will miss out on who YOU want us to sign, when actually the club might not have any intent whatsoever in signing that player, or might be using bids for them as a smokescreen to capture other targets
