If the Ndombele report that they want €75m and we value him at €50m is true then I would be very worried.

€75m actually seems pretty reasonable for someone attracting as much interest as he is.

Never know how much stock to put in any of this stuff. Hypothetically, if they’re valuing him at £65m (€70m) then why put in a bid of £60m? In my experience you haggle over things you can take or leave. If there’s something you really really want, you go in hard to make sure you get it and nobody else is able to nick it off you. If he’s our big statement no1 transfer target then offer the £65m and get him over the line ASAP. We can haggle over the likes of Sess and Clarke (assuming those rumours are accurate).
