It’s been reported Juve are now in the Fray for Ndombele so let’s face it if they want him more likely Than not they will get him.
Griezmann to Barcelona also looks likely which paves the way for Lo Celso to join Athletico who are interested.
These big teams want someone they don’t dilly dally like we do. Let’s face it we still not ready to compete with these teams on a financial or status level but all it takes is one big signing to show your intentions and big players would be more tempted to come our way.
Juve have always been keen on NDombele as well as other clubs too.
I am surprisingly calm this window because I have no confidence Levy will get our number 1 targets over the line so resigned myself to missing out on the likes of N’Dombele etc. Club wants 65 mil - Levy bids 35 min, plus add ons - bid gets rejected. All to familiar, boring. When can we get some owners in that actually want to improve the playing squad with quality.
if you were the owner Don what business would you do?

Would stop f*** around like our current owners do. If you target a player, go and get the player if you are serious about competing for titles. Liverpool desperately needed a goal keeper and centre back, so payed a huge amount of money for Allison and Van Dyke. They are now European champions. Stop messing around and get the f**** targets over the line.

That would be the same as me Ace, with Aurier out too, and another forward(cant think of one tho).

Out:
Eriksen £65m
Trippier £20m
Wanyama £15m
Lamela £15m
Janssen £5m
Vorm (free)
Llorente (free)
Total: £120m
Toby: new contract/keep for last season
In:
Ndombele £70m
Lo Celso £70m
Wan Bissaka £50m
Sessegnon £30m
Total: £220m
Net Spend: £100m on four players all top quality and under 23 in positions we need to improve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have to go for both Sessegnon bros. Although loan Steven back to Fulham for the season.
Need another forward option.
N'Dombele Winks Lo Celso
very dynamic and much improved midfield
Said all along we need another forward. A Son type player/ back up to Harry Kane. I personally would go all out for Zaha. He would be our forward signing. Means a forward list of Kane, Lucas, Son and Zaha to choose from in a 3 option attack, perfect.

yeah we defo cant get a Zaha caliber on top of fixing our midfield and RB issues which are far more pressing

We should definitely be looking towards the idea of loaning back any players that we buy from the lower leagues to the team that we buy them from/another team at that level. Worked so well for us with the likes of Kyle Walker and Dele, and it gives the selling club an extra incentive to do business as they still have the player for a period of time.
We should be doing this with Clarke from Leeds and potentially even Ryan Sessegnon too.
Zaha is a plum. Signed a new deal, declares love for Palace and that he has no intention of leaving. Season later suddenly realises he needs to play in the CL. Footballers do my nut in.
This is the problem of not doing work on the squad last year.
Now we get to this summer and we just can’t do everything that’s needed.

Don.... how do you know what the club's number 1 targets are? has levy taken you for dinner and told you?
what you mean to say is the club will miss out on who YOU want us to sign, when actually the club might not have any intent whatsoever in signing that player, or might be using bids for them as a smokescreen to capture other targets

7 players out and 4 in. Not really ideal especially with loosing 2 of our strikers. Reckon a striker will be on the shopping list this summer. Lost 2 forwards there and reckon we need at least one as cover or rival Kane. Sorry but don’t agree with this back up to Kane nonsense.
Have we signed Ndombele yet?
Have we signed anyone yet?
And no I don't care if nobody else hasn't done much in the window. That's irrelevant.
