I don't think the double pivot requires a creative type. Makes us too lightweight. Unless a forward is sacrificed to make room for a creative midfielder the double pivot will always require at least one destroyer and a box to box mid.

I think there’s a scale. I’m not wanting a Silva or even a Ndombele but more a Brozovic type who is combative but great passing range. Maybe Eriksen is the simple answer.

No to bale

I think Bentancur could be just as good as Brozovic over time.

I couldn't trust Eriksen in a two. He is not the best tackler and would not get stuck in if required. He needs at least two midfielders doing all the dirty work so he can dictate the play.

The only player I would trust Eriksen in a two with is Kante.

Not sure he would start but he would be perfect off the bench as I stated before.

You can buy 3 players Def, Mid & FW to make our squad better.

No mbappe or Haalands etc

Mine are - Hakimi, Bellingham & Antony

Those two and Nkunu

I'd leave the forward and get Bastoni instead

Thing about Traore is, the more we sign quality players for our system who improve how we break teams down, the less and less relevant he becomes. To the point that we are a good RWB away from him being more detrimental than anything.
