If anyone gets the chance to listen to POK on the last word on spurs, do it. Really insightful as to just how bad Enic and levy have been over the last ten years from a man close to it all.

That player Mido recommended we sign, Marmoush from Frankfurt, has 13&7 G+A so far from 15 games 🚀

I also read earlier this morning that Deki wants out and is actively engineering a move to Milan in the summer. Hopefully just a the usual rumour mill to invent stories etc.

As always I won’t believe any of it until I actually see a player holding up the shirt in a presser or the club officially announce it.

Im sure we'll sign a couple of players but expect them to be young, cheap and probably not getting much game time at their current club.

The way Ange is talking, he's making it sound like we need players to make up the numbers rather than improve us in whats been a poor season.

I've heard the talk about Ben Godfrey (Not getting a game at Atalanta. Would pairing him with Drag instead of Archie really fill anyone with any confidence given our approach to defending..... not for me.. but doesn't make him a bad player.

I honestly think Spurs have a decent squad, would like a better alternative to Son than Werner (not hard), back up GK (Sam Johnstone ?)

What Id really like in Jan is a new manager that can coach some discipline from our MF and FBs in particular & make us harder to play against and defend properly. A squad with the Likes of Dom, Son, Madders, Kulu, Oderbert, BJ, Richie is always gonna score goals...... Are they good enough to score 3 every game to make it enough to win... probably not.

I just hope we don't end up with a few cheap squad options to help us through the next few weeks without addressing the real problem.

I fear I'll be disappointed with this window as I'll be at the end of another wasted season

We are going to be linked with loads of players so don't get your knickers in twist about every single one of them. There wasn't wasn't a single link to Odobert for example, then one day - bang it was done.

Yeah... that's true... The sad reality is that I don't think the players even exist for Ange to be able to play his ideological "perfect football" at the highest level...... Certainly not on Spurs' budget.

I'm not in the least bit worried who we sign..... I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference. I don't think playing the way he wants can be successful at the highest level regardless of we sign/don't sign.

In his time at Spurs, he's spent a lot of money, been with these players for 18 months and ex his first 10 games has proved it doesn't work whether we have our strongest 11 or back up because of injuries.

He's out of his depth and doesn't have the willingness or flexibility to adapt. Personally, I wouldn't give him a single penny to spend. I hope he's only in the job until a new manager can be found. The club has gone backwards and our football flip-flops between being a joke and a neutrals dream..... Nobody respects or fears Ange as a manager and Spurs as a club

Its true and sadly we keep being proved right

I think we should just be looking at getting some experienced heads in on loan to see us over this bad injury spell and re-evaluate in the summer. regardless If thats with Ange at the helm them or someone else.

Fact is that we want Viaciro, VDV and Romero back in the team, so really the sort coming in there needs to be very decent back up, not necessarily an instant starter. There's no point spending 40-50m on another CB or GK if theyre gonna warm the bench a lot, or unless they are like Timber at Arsenal and a genuine option across the whole backline, particularly LB and LCB.

The only place I might want us to spend serious money now is in attack. Will Richarlison ever return, if he does can we rely on him, are we planning to replace him long term anyway? I do not really see a future for him now, in which case, if there is a target out there who we can get now then lets do it!

I think that the priority is a CB as that at least releases Gray to be able to start to become our long term no.6
