So if we hypothetically did business in January along the lines of (based on rumours):
Godfrey
Cunha
Trafford
Brandt
Do you think most fans would be relatively pleased? Does it leave Ange with no excuses?
Would be more business than we generally do in January so a bit of a statement in that regard.

That’s all well and good but we need a 1v1 winger
posted 3 hours, 1 minute ago
No point getting into this we will end up with players we don’t need or want and most of all not what Ange wants.
And that’s if Levy decides to spend at all.

I’ve always been a fan of Godfrey but he’s too injury prone

Well if Ange don’t put his foot down now, he never will.

Godfrey - injury prone and not good enough anyway
Cunha ,- good player but I don't see a fit
Trafford - yeah sure
Brandt - see Cunha
We need a Rodri but everyone wants that player. We need a player like Godfrey (Hancko?) who's actually good and available

what we aiming to do then just outscore teams a bit more often than we do already, then?

ok that was a bit Michael Owen but hopefully you get my gist

Hengy.. you could say the exact same about scoring. If course better players improve outcomes

No point looking until 31st jan at 23:59 anyway. We won’t do anything until then

Dragusin getting overlooked cos so many goals went in but what an absolute disaster. I'd sell if we can
posted 2 hours, 37 minutes ago
Maybe we just get two or three experienced players in for the weaker areas in the squad. Aged 28-34 who have been there done it etc and can offer the younger ones that wise head on the pitch.
Won’t cost the earth and buys some time till summer.

‼️The chair of @THSTOfficial has stepped down, with a final message sent to the Spurs board:
"As I step down, I need to say the fanbase is deeply disillusioned with the current state of the club.
There are huge huge concerns that the footballing side is not being prioritised and the lack of a coherent transfer strategy, which leaves our squad brutally exposed at this time of year on a regular basis, certainly backs those fears up.
The proposed changes to senior concessions, lack of junior concessions and price of tickets generally, makes it feel like the club is currently trying to milk supporters for what they're worth.
We're already seeing the impact of that in terms of stadium atmosphere.
We pay among the most expensive seats in Europe with a squad depth that isn't even in the top 10 in the Premier League.
Spurs fans hope the manager is adequately backed in the winter and summer transfer window. Not with young players loaned back out, or 'stars of the future' who can sit on the bench and make up the numbers before we eventually sell them, but with players of the required level who can come in and be competitive now.
We're paying top level restaurant prices and being served Big Macs.
Another sacked manager will only lead to more questions as to why these managers only appear to fail at this club and nowhere else.
There is much to remain hopeful for with the Europa League and League Cups offering a glimmer of hope. But as we've seen, when the injuries hit, our squad isn't competitive.
We were told this stadium would mean we could truly challenge the top clubs in terms of attracting the best players.
Now we struggle to compete with the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle in the market.
The club can't have it both ways. For the prices we pay, we need sustained success on the pitch before the video images of glory days past become too grainy to show on our HD stadium screens.
Please take that step to show you want success on the pitch and if we sink back to mid table mediocrity the ticket prices should reflect that.
We all hope it's the former."

Spoken like a true fan, and not some happy clapper or tourist that Levy is slowly filling the stadium with.
The Levyista`s and ENIC fanboys will be spitting feathers reading that, the truth hurts them massively.

There's really not much you can dispute there tbf. I mean, the Aston Villa/Newcastle bit is a bit of a cheap shot and ignores how well they've done (and the fact we nicked their recruitment team) and Saudi money. But aside from that it's pretty self evident
