A rare interview with Daniel Levy, conducted by talkSport’s Simon Jordan, is set to be released in the near future, the former Crystal Palace chairman revealed.

@MailSport

Will be interesting to see what angle Jordan takes. He has a rep for being up Levy's bum but he also is known for asking tough questions. Either way it should be a good watch.

Unless he's saying he's going to remove himself from the football side altogether I'm not interested. Just more platitudes and empty promises

posted 2 weeks, 5 days ago

It'll be a talk about all the wonderful infrastructure he's built, as well as investing in the future with young signings and our development squad. He'll reference how much has been spent to back Ange and how that compares to our rivals. Then he'll pat himself on the back and say COYS to show he's one of us. Interview over, truly enlightening.

I know this is a stretch but to the best of my knowledge he has never done a serious one on one interview with anyone ever.

Yes, he has attended fan forums and batted away soft ball questions and he might have done a public Q and A in Wall Street a few years back as well.

I'm just wondering if he has some news to deliver on the back of this? Probably not but he has been incredibly private over the last 20 odd years. He writes a message on the website or when accounts get published every now again, but for him to do a one v one interview is a big step for him.

‼️The chair of @THSTOfficial has stepped down, with a final message sent to the Spurs board:

"As I step down, I need to say the fanbase is deeply disillusioned with the current state of the club.

There are huge huge concerns that the footballing side is not being prioritised and the lack of a coherent transfer strategy, which leaves our squad brutally exposed at this time of year on a regular basis, certainly backs those fears up.

The proposed changes to senior concessions, lack of junior concessions and price of tickets generally, makes it feel like the club is currently trying to milk supporters for what they're worth.

We're already seeing the impact of that in terms of stadium atmosphere.

We pay among the most expensive seats in Europe with a squad depth that isn't even in the top 10 in the Premier League.

Spurs fans hope the manager is adequately backed in the winter and summer transfer window. Not with young players loaned back out, or 'stars of the future' who can sit on the bench and make up the numbers before we eventually sell them, but with players of the required level who can come in and be competitive now.

We're paying top level restaurant prices and being served Big Macs.

Another sacked manager will only lead to more questions as to why these managers only appear to fail at this club and nowhere else.

There is much to remain hopeful for with the Europa League and League Cups offering a glimmer of hope. But as we've seen, when the injuries hit, our squad isn't competitive.

We were told this stadium would mean we could truly challenge the top clubs in terms of attracting the best players.
Now we struggle to compete with the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle in the market.

The club can't have it both ways. For the prices we pay, we need sustained success on the pitch before the video images of glory days past become too grainy to show on our HD stadium screens.

Please take that step to show you want success on the pitch and if we sink back to mid table mediocrity the ticket prices should reflect that.

We all hope it's the former."

Also how can we not have a better keeper than Forster in our ranks?

Forster is a perfect example of Levy`s "make do" approach to building a squad.

Almost every Spurs fan knew we needed another quality GK to compete with Vicario last summer, but the board thought otherwise.

Vintage Levy.

Werner is vintage levy

Only reason he was signed was he because he was cheap. No other reason whatsoever

Would love Devon’s thoughts on this

The khunt won’t ever do what’s necessary to make us successful on the pitch - I just hope I live long enough to see him faaack off

We signed anyone yet

posted 2 weeks, 5 days ago

I honestly think we need 5/6 players just to be competitive again, that’s how poor the squad is.

We can’t rely on VDV and Romero - they absolutely love an injury, especially at the same time. Dragusin can’t play the high line and Big Ben isn’t getting any younger. Vuskovic will surely come in, but we need another CB that’s first team ready.

Right back as Porto can’t defend and Gray needs to play his natural position at some point

CM - Biss’s contract is nearly up, doubt we renew. Bentancur is a bit of a liability one way or the other. Gray and Sarr are the future, but need more in there.

Forwards - we need Sons replacement, Moore doesn’t seem to be trusted. We need an alternative to BJ who can run with the ball at pace - Kulu should be central. Solanke needs a proper back up, Richy can’t even stay fit bench warming.

I’d be happy with the likes of Dibling, Delap, Huijsen, Eze - all prem proven.

I'm glad we didn't get Eze but Neto would have been decent. I doubt Eze could handle the demands of Ange plus he is abit of a square peg in the system.

Considering he was thought of as injury prone and with our injury record, Eze would have been out of action more than in it. Plus he would have cost a fortune. Probably another Richarlison.

I still like Eze and he gives us creativity and ball retention when Maddison is having one of his fairly frequent off days

NEW: #thfc are interested in Randal Kolo Muani.

The striker is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January for the Premier League.

PSG have already held concrete talks with potential teams about a loan deal and want an obligation to buy included. | @Plettigoal

5/10 which is disappointing due to the potential off it able to been a 8 or 9.

We should’ve got a established winger with so many being available this summer and I think one of the reasons we didn’t was due to commuting to Werner so early.

IMO this summer turned from a window for now to a window for the future which as spurs fans we’ve had so many of these and the future never turns up.

Out goings we had to be ruthless and I’m happy we was. We did a great job imo
