Definitely triggered you put Son in the reserves and not sure about Danjuma but yeah it all seems achievable.

Bleugh. Still 5 at the back. Pavard won't sign for Spurs and Kulusevski has never played in midfield before.

Would much, much, much rather build a new squad based around a back 4 with attacking full backs. So few managers play a back 5 and fewer still play a back 5 with any sort of progressive or attacking intent, so why build a squad around a formation that no future manager will suit?

Assuming Kane is off and Son is past it. And I don't think Bentancur can be relied on when he won't be available till autumn and won't be match fit until 2024 most likely.

5 new players needed for the first team, but that's the case no matter what system the next manager uses (again, assuming Kane goes and Son doesn't get back to where he was)

I know I said "attacking full backs" and then put Emerson in the team but even I think it'd be suicidal to play Porro and Udogie as full backs until at least one of them has settled in the league.

Oh, and Perisic, Sessegnon, Hojbjerg, Dier, Richarlison, Danjuma, Lloris and Lenglet can all get in the bin.

If we sign good players in those positions I think we'll be solid. I can't see Levy agreeing to sell Kane unless it's way over his market value. Maybe United new owners make a statement? Fine, let them pay for the above.

Perisic needs to stop being a wing back, Son needs to be a striker IMO. Mourinho got the best of him playing up top with Harry like Pep does with KdB and Haaland. Football's simple with good players init.

Yeah, that's kinda my point really. Half the squad needs to go whatever happens I reckon
