Is it concerning that all these supposed transfer tagets we have at the moment that are on our radar were our transfer targets under previous managers (ie club signings again rather than manager signings?

- Raya, I remember reading 6-12 months ago that we were interested in him

- Maddison, we apparently had the chance to progress interest in him but Conte slapped it down

- Ndicka, we've had eyes glued to him due to the running down of his contract

I'd just want to know that the manager is getting who he wants rather than getting what he's given.

That's the only way we can ever truely judge the manager, when he gets who he wants, otherwise if all fails, it will always come with a caveat of 'well he didn't get his own players'

Not as concerning as when we were going for Bergwijn under Poch, and then got him under Jose. At least these players are more established PL players in positions we need to target that we know would be worthy additions.

It's always hard to know how much our managers want the signings we get at the best of times but we are led to believe Ange wants Maddison.

Don't know why he'd come. Don't get where the rumours are coming from unless they're trying to tease a swap deal

I mean, he's playing under EtH. He's got CL and a huge wage. It doesn't make sense that we'd chase it unless maybe a loan?
