Shaktar have gone to the European Commission and will pursue the case at the Swiss Federal Tribunal. From the player's POV he has done nothing wrong and used a FIFA ruling to free himself.

He is decent player Could be an under the radar signing which goes on to do well. Ange had an Israeli player at Celtic so he might even know of him too.

If he's a free agent then there's nothing to haggle offer in court is there?

If you quit a job with immediate effect, you just leave without being paid anymore

They want compensation because they didn't tear the contract up and will lose a player for nothing.

The lad is quick and has an end product. Only 23. 5ft 7, which is not ideal but his pace makes up for it.

I dunno seems like a nightmare. If they go through cas and get granted compensation we could be on the hook for millions. Especially if he turned out good

CAS have already rejected their appeal hence why they are going to the Euro Commish and Swiss fed.

Shaktar value him at €80m! Contract ends at the end of the year and FIFA's ruling runs on until next year.
