I mean

It is literally many, many steps short of criminal

Jeez, are you on the scale? There's something strangely robotic about this answer. To not recognise the turn of phrase is frankly baffling. Anyway, if you were to regard tapping up as illegal in the world of football, then what what Bayern have done DOES constitute a criminal act. Now bore off.

Soooooo

How’s everyone feeling about paying twenty percent more to watch dier and Sanchez?

Don’t worry season ticket holders, Enic are coming for you next year…

Fridge, I agree with some of your posts but your inability to spot sarcasm or irony in posts is criminal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite ironic in a post which questions whether I'm on the "scale" (by which I assume he means the spectrum - which, as a parent of a kid with ASD, I must admit I don't think was an enormously well thought-through comment)

Also frankly baffling the number of things Fridge finds frankly baffling/staggering/mind-boggling/etc

Also also, "If you were to regard tapping up as illegal in the world of football, then what what Bayern have done DOES constitute a criminal act" - this doesn't mean anything. That's kinda the point. Which I originally made in an ironic way, just to clarify

not a Dier fan but surely not the only one who would prefer Romero and Dier to Romero and Davies as the CB 2?

#TottenhamHotspur are weighing up moves for Franck Kessie and Clement Lenglet. Talks taken place with Barcelona, separate deals. Kessie a long-term target, Lenglet expected to be backup option for Edmond Tapsoba/Micky van de Ven. #thfclive

not ok

There is no irony in your comment, just pointless accuracies.

It's like if someone made a brew and put the milk in first, it's not uncommon for someone to say "you put the milk in first? That's criminal" and then getting the reply "actually it's not a crime".

WTF? Of course it's not a crime but it is a well know phrase to express outrage at something you find contemptible.

How you've responded isn't ironic or even sarcastic, it's just accurate to the letter of the law, which is kind of odd.

That said, I apologise about the "scale" thing. I wasn't aware that it was an unacceptable term for the spectrum.

Clearly Paratici is still calling all the shots. Feck me, that guy is like a fart that won't dissipate.

He's got a major hardon for Kessie which is why we're back in for him. After the money he spunked on Gil, I don't want him making any more decisions for our club. It's maddening. Even if he went to prison, Levy would find a way of smuggling a burner phone inside.

Thanks for explaining English to me. Since that's what we're doing, I think most people with a grasp of conversational English would understand that my post was ironically pointing out the hyperbole in your initial statement. You're the one who followed that up with a justification for how apparently tapping up IS a criminal act. Which, again, for the record, it is not.

For what it's worth, using the word "scale" to describe the autistic spectrum isn't an issue. It's the fact that you seemed to use autism as an insult, or at least suggested it as equivalent to being innately incapable of understanding basic concepts.

Mate, whatever! I really don't care that much. As far as I'm concerned it's just a difference of opinion about how language works. That's it. It's really not worth this back and forth.

Fridge actually makes a lot of points I agree with, it's just all so hysterically over the top. I wouldn't put him in the same category as the others necessarily. He's clearly not a troll like Sandy

Also had a good little headloss with me the other week which was a glitch 🤣
