I'm not calm about outgoings cos how are we going to sign a CB that Ange very clearly wants and is a pretty reasonable request without getting some of the deadwood out the door. Not backing the manager FC

WHY WONT OTHER CLUBS SPEND MILLIONS ON THESE OVERPAID CRAAAP PLAYERS THAT WE CAN ALL SEE ARE OVERPAID AND CRAAAP

Right. But that's a problem people are getting good money to solve. It's not new to us or football. Of course there will be cases like Ndombele where they're getting paid more than they're worth so won't move but it shouldn't be an impossible task to move players out. Just take the hit (like we have to on incoming transfer fees sometimes) and move on
Anyway yes I'll calm down. I'm (kinda) sure it's being taken care of

That’s the problem though mate ….the players we want to move on are at the pinnacle with us….it’s downhill in wages and club from us so why move
Who can blame Dier for example….last year of his contract ….why move , wait for a free with the same wages as now …..if he moved he would get less probably cos of the transfer fee
We can have all the desire in the world to shift them but we can’t make them
Maguire at United is the perfect example

Yeah I get it, I'm not actually angry about players not leaving. Sanchez not going to Spartak Moscow, for example, is completely fair enough. But like I say, this isn't a new problem that's just happened. It happened exactly like this to us with most of the same players last summer.
But it is solvable. Find out what the players would be invested in and get a dof in or engage agencies like CAA Base to get moves lined up for them. A club or 2 in Spain for Reguilon, France for Ndombele etc. If they refuse them then fair enough (though I suggest we could do more to encourage them to accept, that's not a great look). Basically I'm annoyed that we weren't ahead of this, that there's no apparent system or strategy in place.

I get the frustration and I share it
It’s just the players we want to shift are either shat and or just simply don’t want to move to the clubs that are actually their level now as they don’t want to admit that
We need contracts to wind down or pay them off to leave to clear the rubbish out
It’s gonna be a slow burner
Yeah yeah yeah but we sold anyone tho
I'm really surprised no Saudi club has come in for Ndombele. He'd be an absolute baller in that league
Lol Nuno not playing Benzema cos he doesn't fit the style. Maniac

It’s also a byproduct of years of poor managers and different squad building strategies.
Each new manager wants to come in and give these players opportunities to see who he wants/doesn’t want for the team - which slows the process (midway through Australian tour it seemed Sanchez, Perisic and PEH were getting sold, now it’s Dier and Ndombele).
Added onto that that the same players have been underperforming for years (Reguillon hasn’t played well since COVID and is an injury risk, Sess is a walking sick note etc)
There’s a reason why all clubs struggle to get rid of their craaaap

I actually reckon he’d be a bit of a liability as he doesn’t give a faaaaaack
Definitely comes across like a right caant. Funny either way tho
I wonder if we will see that though, I imagine Neymar will do the bare minimum.
Jota getting sacked off was weird as well
Yeah I think we'll see that a lot. There's already suggestions Nuno is only doing it to get his pay off. They'll probably figure it out, though. It's just like when City first got all that money except it's a whole league at once
Reckon we'll be in for Jota? Ange loved him, no?
Reckon we might if we didn't have like 50 players already
Tbf we're apparently buying Brennan. Is he better than Jota? I don't rate Brennan as a striker. Or at all, in fact.
Sell one player per day. Job done!
Brennan Johnson would truly be the most uninspiring signing since Fraser Forster
(Granted, he turned out to be perfectly serviceable)

We should just sign a CB and call it a day until Jan. Obviously try and sell as many as we can.
Make Veliz, Richy's understudy. Give enough rope to Son to bench himself and increase the minutes for Solomon and Lo Celso.
Apart from upgrading Son and possibly Richy we should be ok for a couple of months. Bentancur seems to be on track for October, so he will give us a boost.
