Agree about Hobby and PEH. If we do sign a CB not sure top class would describe him but if it's Tosin then he will do.

Problem with Tosin is that I don't think he wants to come to us as he wants to play first team football.

This kind of sums up why I think this transfer is a bit of a lose-lose for the board either way. If we don't sign him oriole will complain about a lack of ambition or something, if we do sign him people will complain about us overpaying for him.

Disgrace if we don’t get him at this point. He’s clearly a top target of ours. If the coach and the data bods all want him then the club needs to find a way of making it happen instead of trying to bully a perceived smaller club so we can get a ‘deal’. Act like a big club and get the job done, happy to charge fans big club prices.

We won’t get Gallagher, Chelsea won’t do a deal with us.

It's a lot but if the manager wants him then we should try and sign him, although the lad will probably succumb to the pressure put on him by the inflated price tag and flop.

I feel we have the right manager in place though so it may be less risky trying to get players that manager wants compared to players for managers who were never the right fit for the club in the first place.
